Nekibound

Beskrivelse
Everything got Nekified, just don't ask why.

Features
  • Adds animated ears and tails to Florans, Humans and Novakid
  • Makes the Apex cuter and fluffier, with animated tails and more colors
  • Customized vanilla and FU hairstyles (inspired by Cutebound)
  • Highlight color for Apex body and Human hair palettes
  • SFW and stream-friendly "barbie/ken" body sprites
  • Fully client-side and multiplayer-friendly
  • Includes support for head rotation
  • Nekified Lana and Nuru

Compatibility
  • Nekibound is compatible with Cutebound, and will always load after it.
  • Installing/uninstalling Nekibound will not break your gameworld/savegame.
  • It should be compatible with everything, except for mods that replace the same species sprites or colors, which may at worst cause some colors/textures to not show correctly.

Note
If this seems oddly similar to Nekify - that's because this was originally intended to be an update of it, but some of the changes would've caused issues with existing characters; turning this into a separate mod was the better option.
The differences include:
  • Both genders having the features
  • No additional custom in-game items (to make it multiplayer-friendly)
  • No "remove" patches and only inconsequential "replace" ones
  • No extra hairstyles (to avoid "bald" characters)
  • No custom sitting pose (to avoid clipping)
  • No body physics (to avoid clipping)

  • Avian, Hylotl and Glitch (maybe)

It's a bug of OpenStarbound, it seems the authors chose not to port the Neki-specific mask configurations that allowed for the ears to rotate properly like they did in their previous project, StarExtensions.

You can use xStarbound [github.com] or StarExtensions [github.com] instead, which both support it properly; or you can just disable the head rotation by typing '/headrotation'.

i have basically all neki products but it looks like the ears arent attached to normal neki species and when you look up and down the head/body tilts but the ears dont tilt with the head. any idea if this is normal or an issue?

In order for it to appear alongside other races at character creation, it has to be its' own standalone race, there's no clear way of making it a toggle in Starbound.

You'd still have to go through all of the steps in this guide to do that, even if you make it a into a simple 'skin' race without any extra content. That's just the way this game is set up, sadly.
