b42 upload is up! This one will remain as it is for now. However the new upload is the same map, just with a couple of fixes, a new building and no custom tiles. https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3493916941

This map will be fixed and updated to b42 once all tools and tilepacks i have used is updated to build42 as well.

A small town called Ashenwood.
The town grew fast as people wanted to settle somewhere outside of the city but still have all the service and entertainment of the big cities. More and more houses popped up as well as a few small businesses that decided to try their luck in this little town. The growth of AshenWood was well underway when people started hearing about the outbreak. Most people grabbed what they could carry and tried to make it out, leaving everything else behind, causing the growth of the town to halt just as fast as it had started. A few tough people however, decided to stand their ground and fortify what they could in an attempt to fight off whatever this virus would bring with it.

Most of the buildings are custom made for this map.
Some of the map features:
- Residental houses.
- Apartments.
- Cabins.
- Survivor hideouts.
- Entertainment.
- Gas stations.
- Storage Units.
- Grocery stores.
- Tools and farming stores.
- School.
- Church.
- Construction sites.
- Gun store.
- Police station.
- Medical, doctor and pharmacy.
- Fire station.
- Auto shop.
- Resturants and bars.
- Lots of water for fishing.
- Car spawns.
- Trees and foraging zones.
And lots of little secrets for you to find on your own!
BEWARE , This map includes buildings with lots of tricky corners and cramped spaces, watch your step!

Bikes, junkpiles, decor items and trash, can be picked up and moved, or destroyed with sledgehammer.

Conflicts with other map mods that uses the same cells (38,38 - 38,37)
If the map isnt there in your game, you have to start a new run.

I have not disabled loot respawn in anywhere spesific no. Not that im aware of anyway

Hello! I wonder if the loot respawn in the gunstore in this map disable? i try testing by using abundant and 1 days respawn yet it not respawn after several days

hi therevivist. Like addic and dreadfullydaph have written below. it does work in multiplayer. try moving it up in your load order and it should work fine. hopefully

Sadly this doesn't work in MP, wish that was in the description but oh well. Hopefully the creator can turn it into MP. Whenever it does, could someone update me with a reply? Would appreciate it.

@Kahj I think the issue people are having may just be the load order of the maps. I was setting it up yesterday and the map doesn't appear when default map is at the top of the load order, when I moved it to be at the bottom (and this one to the top) it loaded just fine on my server. I hope that helps :)

The stairs leading to the second floor of the fire station are obstructed by a box under the stairs, preventing me from going up to the second floor. I think this is a bug (it can be fixed simply by moving the box).

@addic Thank you! Im glad you like the map. If you dont mind (i dont run a mp server myself so i dont know about the setup) Could you perhaps tell me how you have gone about setting up the map in a mp server so other people with the issue can see if the issue is related to their own setup or not? its hard for me to narrow down an issue when all i hear is "doesnt work" without knowing why it might not be working for people.

Thank you for creating a high-quality map and making it available for free.

This mod has worked perfectly on a multiplayer server up to now,
and those who say it doesn’t work appear to be having issues on their own side

We appreciate your hard work; our server has been using it successfully for about one year and six months

Since I’ve seen a few people claim it doesn’t work,
I wanted to leave this comment to express our gratitude
And thank you for separating and uploading the Build 42 version as well!
