good mod!
This mod has worked perfectly on a multiplayer server up to now,
and those who say it doesn’t work appear to be having issues on their own side
We appreciate your hard work; our server has been using it successfully for about one year and six months
Since I’ve seen a few people claim it doesn’t work,
I wanted to leave this comment to express our gratitude
And thank you for separating and uploading the Build 42 version as well!
and yes i have corpse damage health turned off
>Main harddrive dies and loses OS and all contents.
>Computer is severly outdated and can barely run any mapping programs or games without lagging.
>Has major life events happen that changes interests.
>Gets notified of map made for fun during the pandemic being reoploaded by someone else without permission.
>Said mod gets removed.
>Spends all night and day for 2 days managing to find backup files and remaking old map to new version so people can enjoy a official update.
>Testing that sends computer into a spiral and uploads new mod.
>Still gets hate :D
>disappears for almost 3 years
>yeets unofficial update
>gets btfo by users who just wanted to play on the map in the new version of the game
That is certainly one way to handle this. Like others have said, a solution could have been handled without borking everyone's saves, but you do you boo
Good luck in your endeavors.
Create a new game using the same rules and mods as the corrupted game (minus the Ashenwood map), log in and log out.
Go to the folder of that new save and copy the following files (they are all in the main save folder, not in a subfolder):
"map_ver.bin"
"mods.txt"
Paste these files into the folder of your old save.
It worked for me!
Anyway, I still hope the author can update this town quickly. It's a beautifully crafted town
The map wont be ready tonight no. its very late here and im almost done with removing the tiles, then i have to go through and fix a few other bugs and then port the thing to b42 and upload. Im hoping to get this done either tomorrow or the day after.
But you should have just considered preparing an immediate solution to stop this wave of frustration and anger. We're now in a situation that could easily have been prevented. And not everyone wants to spend an hour just to get the map back in order.
Thanks for you work though I would have never experienced if not for the B42 version as I've never played another Zomboid & I hope it's not a troll that an update is real soon (TM)...
