Wouldn't it be nice to have two kinds of Draconis, one named wyvernis "because arm wings, duh!" and one called draconis. "With true back wings like a dragon has."

Well, this mod aims to do so.

MEET THE WYVERNIS RACE!

Currently in the mod are:

Racial furniture, you can buy from the merchant,
Wyvernis mecrhant, crafts on the inventor's table for 20 planks,
Unique racial ship and pet (Well, at least non-human.) .

they have their own armor or its just an edited of existing ones?

cutieryan, well, because of the mod is belong GeekyRaptor, I'm not answering here. But on this question I can reply: no . I helped with all code side of the mod (not exactly the code, since I used race template by Skittles - so thanks to Skittles, my agony with reworking had ended one day), and did my best to made mod separated. You only need to subscribe to the mod and color pack (optional).
I can't reply other questions, because don't know anything myself. I only made it work.
