Regarding the issue with the broken files and the overwrite/delete discussion — this mod was made in my free time to enjoy with my clan and to share with others freely, without any revenue involved.
I understand there are concerns about replacing Arma 3 content with prefixed versions, but as far as I know, that practice is allowed.
Also, please note that I’m listed among the authors of JBAD, so it feels unfair to be accused of stealing mods when I’m actually part of that project.
This kind of hostility and quick judgment discourages genuine contributors and doesn’t help the spirit of this community, which has always been based on altruism and collaboration. Let’s focus on being constructive and supportive instead of divisive.
Thanks for your understanding.
It does pbo prefixes completely wrong, overwriting and even deleting vanilla files which causes popup errors at game start.
A bunch of PBO's have no configs at all (which isn't allowed).
Also despite having Jbad as a dependency this also contains files that were extracted from JBAD mod, which the authors say reuploading is not allowed ( https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/workshop/filedetails/discussion/520618345/2288338831428815036/ ), which is a bit questionable?
However, I can second the lighting issues reported on other terrains.
I find that the sun, stars and moon gets deleted on all CUP terrains, which also dulls out the lighting.
