Description
Random New World brings you infinite possibilities with a wide range of randomizations, including realm set up, de jure map, faith and culture placement, traditions and doctrines.
How to use it
  1. Subscribe to the mod.
  2. Enable it in the launcher.
  3. Choose the rules you prefer.
  4. Start the game with any characters or in observer mode.
  5. You will need to wait a bit for the randomization.
  6. If you used government randomization, save and reload the game.
  7. Once everything is done, hit escape and switch character.
  8. I didn't try it in multiplayer, but I would recommend to launch the game in single player, save and host the savegame.
  9. Enjoy!

It is compatible with (almost) every other mod, even total conversions. (It doesn't overwrite any files, only add new ones.)
The only exceptions are doctrine, holy site and innovation randomization, you can try to use them, but I can't guarantee the results.

For those who has the same problem as me regarding ruler age FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

1. GO TO THE WORKSHOP FOLDER 2442026625 -> Common -> scripted_effects

2. IN rnw_realm_setup_scripted_effects YOU SHOULD CHANGE THE rnw_generate_new_count_effect BLOCK FOR THE FOLLOWING:

Bug on minimum rulers age... once you set the minimum age, every single ruler will have the same age across the world map.. once the mod is dead and there is no modder available to keep working on it.. partial RIP

The mod works for the most part, but I've been having weird errors with it not using 100% of faiths despite me telling it to, and of course not adding the new faith and culture traits into the randomization pool. China won't shatter properly either, and the estates don't seem to go away.

Okay, after some tests and reinstalling, the crash was entirely my own fault, I f-ed around in the game files(I know, I thought the changes were minor, they weren't). The crash wasn't this mod's fault, it was entirely my own, sorry.

It... just crashed for me once I unpaused, and I'm using a fairly beefy PC that should be able to handle it normally, maybe the issues with trying to shatter china while also having SO MANY more counts than usual... maybe I should make sure my PC can handle this with no mods, they promised performance improvements to compensate for the increased map, but you know paradox.

The Tang got split in half by a massive rebellion for me, haha. Unfortunate that it doesn't shatter properly because I really wanted to play with both this mod and AUH, but alas.

I shattered everyone into single county counts(as I do), in the earliest bookmark, but the tang dynasty remains unshattered(that was the one realm i WANTED shattered), but I suppose shattering it would require forcing the dynastic cycle into a chaos era, and would effect the silk road, that would probably require a bit more programming.

Okay, I started landed, had the choice to become and adventurer, and doing that appears to work.
