Te Huia Cafe Coach

(Representing the SRC coach).

Out of the twelve SA and SD coaches converted for use on Te Huia, three of them were converted into cafe coaches. This is quite interesting to me, seeing as the 'original' SA coaches never had a buffet/cafe/bar/whatever in their Auckland days (because they didn't need one).

My assumption over why Te Huia has cafe coaches is thus; so passengers can have breakfast or an evening snack on their way to and from Auckland.
