Description
Support Trolleybus trailers with poles at any trailer


Cities: Skylines got trolleybusses with Sunset Harbor DLC. Unfortunately new trolleybus AI doesnt support trolley poles to be used on trailers, which was a required condition of most of the articulated trolleybusses.

As of path 1.16.1-f2 you no longer need the mod to create new trolleybuses with this feature but you have to use it if you subscribe trolleybuses below or you are asset creator and want to switch to vanilla AI by re-saving the asset in the Asset Editor

This mod addresses that issue and allows the addition of trolleypoles on trailers.

Recommended Assets


Asset Creation Notes
  • Use one of REV0 buses as a template or select any other vanilla trailer template you want (AI Change will be necessary in that case),
  • Add or edit trolley pole submesh (don't forget to click on Trolleybus pole import checkbox on import dialog)
  • Set correct required flags if needed (Right Pole, Left Pole) on corresponding trolley poles
  • Tweak positions if you like (x/y/z)
  • Save and add as a trailer to regular Trolleybus template

Asset Migration notes
  • Enable the mod
  • Load one of your trolleybus asset which uses this AI into Asset Editor
  • just save it - game should persist the asset with vanilla TrolleybusTrailerAI
  • Disable or unsubscribe the mod and test if asset is loading without the mod (you may need to disable other not migrated assets before)

@CC_2387 maybe because it's obsolete -> vanilla already implements the main feature of the mod. Read the mod description again.

Szlag by trafił Paradox. Najnowsza łatka zepsuła nawet starą wersję twojego moda...

Niby dodali przegubowe trolejbusy ale nawet na vanilli nie można zmienic pałąków na inne, bo nie ma opcji, że to słup mesh :(

@Krzychu1245 w sumie nie musisz nic robić. Na szczęście miałem zapisaną na kompie wersje moda sprzed patcha, która działa i się udało :) Wesołych!

@Krzychu1245 dzięki. To chyba tylko kwestia braku tej opcji przy wyborze submeshu, że to słup trakcyjny mesh albo sam już nie wiem czy brak opcji left/right pole przy conditions ma wpływ. Zamiast tego jest taking off/landing, ale wydaje mi się jak sprawdzałem po wyjściu dodatku to pałąki był widoczne.

@Piciak I'll check what is wrong and try to re-add patching code for trolleybus poles for the editor.

@Piciak, you can only update your asset. It is not possible to create a new asset.
