Welcome to "The Nomadic De'nelaun" race mod!
The De’nelaun originate from their home planet, Na’zrifron. Na’zrifron was a thriving, rocky Lush planet, filled to the brim with wondrous and brilliant wildlife. It was a very mountainous planet, with extraordinary amounts of breathable gases. The De’nelaun were the only humanoids on that planet.

Everything changed when a planet-destroying meteor came into the De'nelaun's home system, and was on a fiery course towards Na’zrifron. Thankfully, a Terrene Protectorate post was on a nearby planet, as they were studying the De'nelauns, so the Protectors came to help as much as they could.
They escorted many De'nelauns off of Na’zrifron, saving the race from extinction. Those left behind died with their planet.

Practically stuck in the Neolithic Age, the Protectors helped the De’nelaun learn a lot of new things about technology and advanced crafting. Because of the Protectors' help, some De'nelaun stayed with the Protectorate, even taking a part in the Academy! However, not every De’nelaun was interested in technology. Some chose to go back to their old life once leaving the Protectors.
The De'nelauns who left, spread out amongst the cosmos, and continued their old traditions they had on Na’zrifron, leading to tribes of De'nelauns reforming over time...

The player De'nelaun is one who decided to join the Protectorate Academy.

You will need a race extender for this to show up!
You can pick from any extender you want! Xbawks Character Extender is a really good example!
If you use Frackin' Universe, however, you do not need an extender. One is already built into FU.



  • MORE Tribes/Villages
    The De'nelaun have a total of 7 Tribes planned so far. Each completely unique with a different culture, traditions, and more!
    Currently, you can encounter 3 out of the 7 Tribes.
  • Leave a suggestion if you want to!



♦De'nelauns are very sensitive to extremely bright lights or loud sounds.

♦The De’nelaun culture is a mix of Neolithic Age, Copper Age, and nomadic culture. The De’nelauns believe in moving often, for fear of another meteor or bad event happening to them if they stay at a spot permanently.

♦The De'nelauns have a variety of weapons at their disposal! They use Battle Clubs, Spears, Axes, Claws, Bows, Hammers, Boomerangs, Sickles, Shortswords, and Torches! (Yes, torches. They use Torches to set enemies on fire!)

♦De’nelauns end a lot of their sentences with either: yes, no, hm or hm-hm.

♦Monsters have a chance to drop a Monster Carcass. Any race can use the Tanning Rack to get useful materials!

as it turned out it was in fact another mod breaking my game; the angels of starbound mod. it works completely fine now!

I'd need a full Starbound log to be able to help. NPCs exploding is a very common form of incorrect patching, which could be the fault of any mod, really.
Testing this mod by itself, and with my other mods, everything works. So, it depends on what other mods you have!

i installed it yesterday and when i tried talking to any npc, it evaporated them permanently? and then, today, when i tried to play as the character, my game completely closed itself. no error or anything, just.. fully closed the game
