Community Title Project

Description
The mod is currently in a rewrite that allows much more compatibility and flexibility of titles and names. You can see the progress on the discord.

Community Title Project is a historical overhaul mod that aims to enhance your CK3 immersive experience by dynamically customizing the vanilla game's bland generic titles into culture based unique titles which would have been used in that time period. The mod aims to have titles to be as phonetically correct as possible, therefore there is some heavy usage of diacritics and few additional non-Latin characters.

Content:
  • Changes all cultural and cultural group names to endonym terms used by the people of that culture. ['Egyptian' to 'Masri'].

  • Changes landed and rulers' titles from Emperor to Baron based on the various condition which include but are not limited to holders culture, holder's independence and government type

  • Changes special non-landed titles like consorts, Queen Mother and children of Rulers based on the various conditions.

  • Changes Council View with Custom names for Chancellor, Marshal, Steward, Spymaster and Spouse based on the court owner's culture.

  • Changes Knights View with custom names based on the Court Owner's culture.

  • March and Palatinate contracts now are represented by a name change.

  • Theme system titles for multiple cultures under the Eastern Roman Empire.

  • Prince and Prince-Elector titles for HRE vassals with elector status or proper local sovereignty.

  • Extended vanilla font for new characters.

  • Partial completion of Men at arms cultural localization.

    Culture Groups Added:
Goidelic, West Germanic, Brythonic, Frankish, Iberian, North Germanic, Balto-finnic, Central Germanic, Arabic, Byzantine, Latin, South Slavic, Magyar, East Slavic, Dravidian, Iranian, Turkish(partial), East African (partial), and many more.

    Upcoming Features:
    1. More Cultures
    2. Theocratic/Religious Titles. NEXT
    3. Complete over haul of character names (preview in bookmarks).

Supports English, French, German and Spanish.

    Files Edited/Compatibility:
Culture localization file: Place other mods below CTP if they add non-vanilla cultures.
Council positions: Place other mods below CTP for any council changes/additions.
Bookmarks: Place other mods below if they edit the bookmarks.
Fonts: We extended the vanillia font, this won't be compatible with other's unless specified.
All other files have unique filenames and titles would be overwriten if other mods have higher priority flavorization.

    Supported Mods:
More Cultural Names: Our mods work together on naming and we strive for compatibility.

    Integrated Mods:
Vanilla Fonts Expanded feel free to reach out if you would like to use the latin script fonts for your own mods.

Oh I see. So where does Əcôš come from?
TheGib770  [author] 4 Oct @ 8:11am
Quite helpful to do sometimes since uh.... Sudan comes from the arabic term 'land of the blacks.' You may find some names being like 'People of the Valley' etc etc

Migiti is the name of the predominate peoples of Nubian in the same way as we use the predominate peoples name for ethiopian. Some people do not have proper terms for themselves as well were we sometimes use translations for terms such as 'Asatru' which is the name of the modern norse pagan religion being called 'Heathen' in CTP. Despite there not being a term at all.

Is Əcôš and Migiti actual endonyms for Sudan and Nubian respectively? Why can't I find anything about it outside this mod?

Yea, it just needs update for Mongol council names. At least that's the only thing I've noticed. They all look like kurutai_council_member.

does it still work

Good afternoon, I appreciate the effort on the mod because it's a great job. I've found a couple of errors in the Spanish translation. The following titles don't appear, which causes them to appear as follows:
duke_male_hindustani_independent_holder
king_male_hindustani_holder
king_default_male_holder_hindustani
duke_male_admin_greek
count_male_admin_greek
And others. I compared it with the English files and it seems that the Spanish localizations are somewhat outdated with the changes in English. Maybe you're waiting until a certain point or testing to update other localizations. I'll let you know anyway.

Hey just want to say this is an incredible mod. Wish something like this was included in the base game. Any plans to update? Thanks
