British Rail Class 66

描述
The Class 66 is the most numerous locomotive to operate in Britain, with around 480 examples being delivered from Canada and the USA by EMD from 1998 to 2016. The class is also operated in Europe. They have proved to be very reliable, with a major rebuild only required after 1.6 million kilometres.

The model is available from 1998 in 5 liveries: EWS, DB, GBRf, Colas and Metronet.

Features:
- 5 UK liveries
- Reversible
- Dirt and rust
- Custom audio: the sound files can be found at www.zimo.at.
- Each loco is also available as a track asset.

Max speed: 120 kph.
Power: 2460 kw (3300 hp).
Tractive effort: 409 kN.

Thanks to cw_315 and funclive for providing the inspiration for the model and pictures of the real thing. They have also done their own liveries based on this model, so keep an eye out for those.

@brennandhull: no problem. The 66s are busy being updated by funclive. Not sure if he's added the Drax one. I've seen the green 59 and may add it at some point.

@blop2010. I'm not planning to do Irish locos. However, if you want to paint a 66 in Irish colours just drop me a friend request and I'll send you the necessary.

any irish locos in the works ? the class 201 is nerely the same as a uk 66 same engine shape ect so might be easier to make

@brennandhull: a 59 is on the way :) Several of them, in fact. Hanson and Yeoman are both in the somewhere. It'll be a while yet.
