Modular Magnetics

This mod is a work in progress.

Welcome to Modular Magnetics! I’ve designed this mod for the discerning Protectorate scientist. With reworked sprites from the outpost, apex science, astro, and industrial this mod is sure to have something to please almost everyone!


How do I access the objects?

Everything I’ve put in the mod is accessed from the Modular Printing Station in the vanilla Inventor’s Table.

What is Modular Magnetics?

Currently it’s proof of theory! The idea that you can swap different parts and pieces to create a new sum. Whether it’s for building a new space to do science, or to set up furnishings to make your laboratory just a little more fancy, I’ve tried to design a system where almost everything is interchangeable.

Modular -

I’ve created a set of block-like objects that are supposed to fit together neatly. These modular cubicles are designed to partition areas and tidy up an otherwise messy workspace. In the future, I’ll expand this concept to furniture as well.

Magnetics -

The bulk of current content. White futuristic furniture, accented with orange and black, with a signature magnetic base. With a hard sci-fi and tech/future inspiration, anyone using Frackin Universe is sure to love these sets!

Planned -

A ton more objects I’ve created but have yet to code.

The magnetic bases and attachments will be available separately in conjunction with another set of furniture. Both sets of furniture will have interchangeable pieces. For example, the magnets from this set will fit on the unmade set, and the unmade set will have bases that will fit on the Magnetic Set.

I will also eventually put in several sets of custom weapons including but not limited to bounty hunter wrist weapons, “magic spells,” and other various acoutremon.
