I made this mod mainly for myself, but decided to share with everybody.
This mod adds a new playable species, 2 new planets with their own biomes, monsters, many hazards and treasure. The mod adds new unique weapons, armor, cosmetics, augments/collars, spawners, codexes, throwables and other equipment.
All new content can only be found on those 2 planets, is fairly balanced, and thus doesn't interfere with normal gameplay!

Compatability
This mod doesn't require any other mods to work and should be FU-compatible.
Temporarily incompatible with NpcSpawner+ - use this patch if you want to create alta npcs with it.
Temporarily incompatible with ArmorAdapt.
Supported Addons

  • Tabula Rasa (most items & objects are available at the table);
  • Spawnable Item Pack (all objects and a lot of items are available here, though less than at Tabula Rasa);
  • Equivalent Exchange (all plant-based and non-organic materials can be studied);
  • Improved Food Descriptions (proper support for all effects added by this mod);
  • More Planet Info (proper support for all effects, weather and biomes of this mod);
  • True Space (planets added by this mod are able to spawn near True Space stars. Alterash[github.com] can spawn as a mild/cool planet or satellite, Alterash Prime[github.com] as a cool/cold planet or satellite);
  • Race Traits (check mod screenshots for stats);
  • Frackin' Races (PARTIAL: no FU BYOS support. If you need it, you can get it here: Alta FU Patch+);
  • Quickbar Mini/Stardust Core Lite (adds Alta Scanner to the quick bar);
  • Scripted Artificial Intelligence Lattice (Customisable A.I.!) (adds 4 A.I. chips that modify S.A.I.L. with alta ship A.I. features and makes alta S.A.I.L. compatible with chips) - if you only want the chips and not the rest of the mod - use this instead: Alta A.I. Chips;
  • Wardrobe Interface (all armor and clothing from the mod can be found in the wardrobe with proper dying options);
  • Craftable Seeds (all crops and saplings from this mod can be crafted in the Seed Maker);
  • Recipe Browser (adds all recipes and crafting stations from this mod to the interface);
  • Starburst Rework (electric protection items from this mod support effects from SR);
  • More Tabs (codex library now has an alta tab).
Enhanced Storage - if you need compatability, you can get this patch.

Changing S.A.I.L.
You can alter alta S.A.I.L. by installing one of the officials patches: EDS Alta S.A.I.L., C.T.O.S. Alta S.A.I.L..

just a heads up, i believe Miniknog Rearmed mod conflicts with your mod as alta settlements don't spawn on their worlds and are replaced by minikog forces and people

Ye - and it's located above the big drop in alterash planets - the biome is Yaara Grove (you can see it in the screenshots, it's a green underground jungle)

@Ceterai I went down to the core of both planet types, but only found plenty of chests and cool lights near the centers. Is there a specific underground biome I should look for which gives Yaara Roots?

Hello! So far, I love the mod. I have questions though.
Playing as an alta, I only seem to have access to the Rebel and Insurgent armor sets at the fully upgraded forge. Is that intentional? I see there are armor sets available at the Alta crafting station, but I can't seem to upgrade the station to get better armors without getting 15 "Yaara Root" which, after exploring a few Alterash and Prime planets, I've been unable to find. I've got Solarium ore but I'm still wearing Insurgent armor. Halp.

@Kaito Can you elaborate on which items have conflicts?

@Kaito could you please share in the Bugs thread which items exactly are conflicting?
Looking into it, I got no conflicts when running both mods and couldn't find dublicate error messages in the logs either.
Keep in mind that all ME items have a "ct_" prefix to them, and no items in Project Irisil seem to do so.
