Starbound Weapon Overhaul Complete

Beskrivning
This mod seeks to overhaul not just the existing vanilla Starbound guns, but also includes revamped versions of most of my older projects. Everything about guns, from their color to their animations to their abilities to their stats, is changed.

THE BASICS
- Several new guns are added: Machine guns, bullpups, lever action rifles, handcannons, sawed off shotguns, and more!
- Every randomgen gun has its old sprites replaced with brand new ones!
- All guns are distributed throughout treasure lists and merchants
- Some new weapons can be crafted at the anvil and its upgrades
- Several gun abilities have been tweaked, renamed or resprited, and more abilities have been created from scratch!
- New muzzle flash and impact effects for guns of every element!
- Most guns have received new firing animations
- Tweaked sound effects, plus some new ones!
- Two new melee weapons, the longsword and the rapier, can be found throughout the universe
- New variant of shields called bucklers are added
- Uncommon guns receive custom projectile effects, differentiating them from both conventional and plasma weaponry
- Gun name generation has been overhauled, making them similar to real world weapons

INCOMPATIBILITIES
- Older versions of Starbound Weapon Overhaul are incompatible. I've uploaded this as a new file rather than update the old ones because of the sheer amount of changes made since then.
- On that note, all of my older mods are incompatible, as this contains assets from just about every one of them
- Anything that changes vanilla guns' stats or sprites will conflict
- Frackin Universe is incompatible (No, I don't intend to make them compatible)

I consider this project feature complete and don't plan to add anything too big. That said, tweaks will probably be made in the coming weeks based on your feedback, so don't hesitate to leave a comment if something is bugged, broken, or otherwise not to your liking. Enjoy!

alr gents. I've heard that Raiizy is supposedly working on his version of a Weapon Overhaul Mod so lfg!

I'm not mod savvy so I'm asking if any of ya'll know if every wep here is properly tagged so it's compat with mods like rpg growth

I feel like this mod isn't getting the recognition it deserves. The sprites are fantastic, and the new weapons like the action rifle, with the spin on each shot, blew my mind. Overall, it seems like a pretty good weapons mod, and it maintains that vanilla aspect that suits the game so well.

I'd love to know what tools you use to create the sprites, the parts for each type of weapon, and how each one fits together just by adjusting the "baseoffsets". I can only edit over existing sprites to create new ones, but I wouldn't know how to make them entirely new because I'm unsure if they'd align correctly just by setting the "baseoffset".

You said this is feature complete but it would be nice to have a item based ammo and clips for weapons that normally take energy, Maybe some energy weapons instead of using ammo could have a cooldown + recharge that doesn't take from peoples main energy pool.

hm, i removed suppers and it worked. maybe it was additional monster parts

@MidasMichief most likely no, but the (visuals-only) compatibility version does work
