Descripción
Summary
Too Many Voices is a complete dialogue and voiceover enhancement mod that aims to create unique voiceovers for every single unit, announcement and narration piece in the game. All dialogue is an original creation and recorded from scratch by actors and edited with appropriate SFX, thus delivering a bespoke vibe to each faction and enhancing the overall atmosphere of the gameplay.

Here is progress as it currently stands:

Orks
Remaining "Onslaught Pack" unit to be voiced (Squighog Boy)

Chaos Space Marines
Remaining "Onslaught Pack" unit to be voiced (Rubric Marine)

Tau
Complete!

Eldar
Remaining "Onslaught Pack" unit to be voiced (Vyper)

Necrons
Remaining "Onslaught Pack" unit to add SFX to (Canoptek Reanimator)

Adeptus Mechanicus
All units bar the recent "Onslaught Pack" unit (Sicarian Ruststalker), research and ability announcements have been voiced. Their encountered, defeated and story narration lines will be added in a future update.

Space Marines
The Space Marines are next in line and are currently being scripted. They will receive a full overhaul of their voiceovers to bring them up to par with the latest factions in the mod, as well as add their respective research and ability lines. Narration will follow in a future update once the commonly played gameplay voiceovers are complete.

Tyranids
We actually have some early takes for both the announcer and narrator, but they were done quite a while ago and we may revisit these with the original actor who initially did them to see if he wants to revamp or make any changes to them before publishing to the mod. Will try and complete this in and around the same time as the Adeptus Mechanicus recordings due to the dialogue being from the perspective of one of their Techpriests.

Drukhari
The newest faction to be added. Not a faction I'm familiar with so I'll need to do a bit of homework on them, but seem perfectly doable from a brief skim read of their lore.

Astra Militarum
What exists at the moment for the most part is what really could be considered something of a "first pass" on the units. The goal being to revamp the faction in full at a later date with a more updated character design philosophy, new scripts, better vocal SFX, new announcer and all that fun stuff.

Adepta Sororitas
Alas this will be waaaay down the line as it stands right now and depends heavily on if actresses can be found who are willing to help out with the voiceover. So for a while the Sisters will alas have to be somewhat mute.

Compatibility
Compatible with basically everything that doesn't change voice lines. Updates should not break this mod.

The Sisters are actually getting some attention behind the scenes, I've had a number of submissions from the same people who volunteered to help with the Drukhari. So with a bit of luck getting the faction voiced isn't gonna be a pipe dream =)

VoiceModSecundus has fantastic ai voiced Battle Sisters with all units covered including the male units which arrived later thru unit addon packs. It also covers the ULTIMA FOUNDING DLC which came out last year and all Adeptus Mechanicus faction units. Its done by Runeforged who is also part of the magnificent team of TOO MANY VOICES.

As a suggestion, I know you've had issues finding voice actresses for Sisters. According to the text in game, the Lightning, Avenger, and Knight Lancer are all not part of the Adepta Sororitas. Therefore if need be they could be voiced by male voice actors since the fighters are with the Army/Navy and the Knights are obvs Knight Houses

Tanks for the update and enjoy a nice cup of tea or amasec while reading uplifting stuff like the Guardsmen's Primer, a compilation of memorable speeches from the ecclesiarchy or perhaps - if you have the access level required - something from the life of the legendary Commissar Ciaphas Cain! :)

I've been taking time away from all sorts of projects just to do some stuff for myself really. It's never been abandoned in any way, I just wanted a healthy chunk of time to myself to pursue other interests is all =)

I do have a few people who have volunteered their assistance in creating Sisters and Drukhari stuff, so that's happening in the background. But I'm not gonna put a date on anything as they're doing this gratis for the love of the game so to speak, so I'm not gonna rush em. But some progress is still progress, I just can't give any solid time frame on any updates and such. I'll post something here when I've got something worth sharing though I can assure you =)

@Guvenoren, yes more is on the way from what George has said over the summer. It just takes time and it was brutally hot summer weather wise where he is located so working in a sound booth would not have been a healthy decision. Things might speed up a little now that the weather is cooler but things in life take energy mental and physical with necessary recharge time on top of daily needs.

This is legit so good! I was going to check which RTS game you had taken the lines from because they sounded just like I would expect voicelines from a fairly modern 40k RTS to sound like. Keeping the same quality as large video game studios when you are not that is really impressive

@ZeratulTemplar have what TOFFster said done but by the host during your multiplayer game maybe that will reset things on your end otherwise you might have to do some sort of deep dive uninstalling any files from Gladius besides the regular uninstall method.
