Experience the consequences of the resonance cascade scenario once again, and play as one of Hazardous Environments Combat Unit marines, Steven Mills. You are not a survivor, you are sent on a mission. Secure Black Mesa Research Facility with the rest of your squad and eliminate any hostile forces. You will experience Black Mesa disaster from a perspective of the villains and even see Gordon Freeman in person.

How to install:

Once you subscribe and download the workshop addon navigate to steam/steamapps/workshop/content/362890/1720191293

If there's no 362890 folder, then look in different folders for the mod after subscribing to it. Sorting by date may speed up the process.

Copy bmmilitary and Launch Black Mesa Military.bat (Launch Black Mesa Military oldmenu.bat is optional) files to your
Black Mesa directory (where game .exe file is).
Default game path is: Steam\steamapps\common\Black Mesa\

Run the mod using "Launch Black Mesa Military.bat" file you just copied

@in the Balls, I don't believe that it's true. gameinfo.txt is included in the mod files. Maybe it's your antivirus, maybe it removed the file, check in the antivirus quarantine if it blocked the necessary files for the mod to run and eventually lift it from the quarantine.

so i found out about this mod and i wanted to ask what will the definitive edition contain and is it still being developed?

I see this mode with a great pontential, however, a lot of issues such as rough edges, confusing installations, misplaced props and walls, especially the greatness black texture, behold! The all mighty out of bound map in one certain map, most frustrating Gargantua fight (even for the first and third part it took me 20 minutes to figure out how tf am I supposed to do apart from killing it with a turret launcher), on half of subtitles in certain chapters, ETC. and so on. I'd love to rate 8 out of 10, but I think this need to be in the oven a little longer, expect it to take at least 2-3 years more on developing, polishing more is needed. Overall 6.8/10

Love to play again in the future if the update is announced.
