Adds the Cryo Priest enemy from A Better DLC as a standalone unit, it does not depend on A Better Advent like the original mod does. (Although that doesn't mean you can't use it alongside this mod)

It still has the Better AI changes from the original mod and is not scaled down to "vanilla" levels.

One change from the original is that my version no longer uses the Advent Pistol, now it's just the Cryothrower and Frostbomb

Description of the unit from the original mod
The Cryo Priest mirrors the Purifier in many ways. Instead of an incendiary grenade they carry a Frostbomb. Instead of a flamethrower, they carry the Cryolator, which is basically an Icethrower. Their job is disabling your soldiers to level the playing field for ADVENT once your guys become clearly superior. For that reason, there is no tier 1 Cryo Priest, they will only start spawning in the midgame.
Cryo Priests do no wear the same sealed armor that Purifiers have, so they do not share their immunities. They are also not rigged to blow up in any kind.
Cryo Priests are followers only and can appear in any pod that has ADVENT in it, no matter if it's lead by an alien or an ADVENT leader.

Lore:

"The ADVENT Cryo Priest, this is what happens to the standard ADVENT Priest when, for whatever reason, they lose their psionic powers. They are given special Flamethrowers that have the standard incendiary fuel replaced with a type of mysterious chemical that's so cold that it burns and causes the ground to burst into flames. Anyone that gets frozen by one of these will be riddled with frostbite and will quickly need medical treatment before the effects get more severe. Trust me, I've seen what happens to people who don't receive treatment, and it's probably worse than just getting shot and killed by an ADVENT Trooper’s Mag Rifle. The Cryo Priests are also armed with frost bombs that I suspect our own was designed after. As for their role in the ADVENT Coalition overall? To either keep enemies frozen while other units execute them or to immobilize them for capture, although the latter behavior is much more rare and unlikely to be seen in combat."

I am also glad you are back, and thank you very much for your hard work.

If you are looking for bringing more unique xcom stuff, may I recommend XCOM Declassified?

If someone wanted to make a version of the mod that did that then their allowed to as long as DerBK is credited since their the original creator of the mod after all.
