Ace Combat HUD

       

                                      Test and feel the HUD with these Ace Combat levels!




- 'HUD: Enable' activates the HUD for that specific camera.
- 'HUD: First Person Display' shows/hides the artificial horizon, heading, and throttle/altitude sliders.

- Setup throttle with 'HUD: Engine' key on camera + either a steering hinge with 'HUD: Throttle ↻/↺' set or 'HUD: Throttle Up/Down' keys on camera. Toggle the 'HUD: Engine' key to enable it in simulation.
--- If you're using a steering hinge and it's backwards, try using the other 'HUD: Throttle' direction.
- Setup weapons with 'HUD: Missile/Bomb/Other' on grabbers and decouplers.
- Setup landing gear with 'HUD: Landing Gear' on steering hinges.
- Display health by adding a 'On Machine Health' logic trigger to the machine's build zone.
- Add more than one shot to your cannons with a 'Reload Machine' logic event.
- All of this now works in Multiverse for clients as well!

- Other players' machines in Multiverse will automatically get targets showing name, speed, and position.
- Click the mouse wheel to change your target to the closest one to the center of the screen.
- Setup targets for other things in the level editor by appending 'hud_[type]_[iff]_[pri]' to an object's name.
- Replace [type] with a/g/i/h
- Replace [iff] with enm/fnd/neu/tgt
- Optionally include _pri on the end for a big square.

The following options can be set with Object Explorer (via ModControllerObject > CameraHUDController):
- Toggle the icing effect.
- Toggle the simulation time counter.
- Toggle the plane weapon placeholder.
