JTACTab: Advanced Support Module

Deskripsi
JTAC TAB is ArmA3 addon that provides advanced JTAC system support. Current version allow to call fixed and rotary wings CAS and rotary wings transport with escort when needed. JTAC operator can chose approach direction, type of attack and target mark type. JTAC TAB is based on real CAS and TRANS requests. Like in real world, if u mark target with smoke, you must confirm smoke color when pilot asks for it etc. However, some details had to be slightly modified for ArmA purpose.

JTAC TAB is also easy to use for mission makers. There are 4 modules to put and synchronize on the map. You can just “put and play”, or you can adjust each cas parameters for your own.


Features:

JTAC tablet (avaible if player have UAV Terminal in slot)
Fixed and rotary wings CAS
Ability to chose different types of ammo and attack (gbu, carpet, direct fire, at and ap missiles)
Different types of tagret marking (laser, smoke)
Pilots recocnize smoke/lightsitck color, and JTAC operator must confirm it before engage (like in real life)
Rotary wings can hoover in Battle Position, and JTAC operator decide of missle type and time of engage
Transport request for rotary wings - heli taxi
Taxi can be call with escort if enemy is near
Abort codes for abort requested cas
Day / Night marking target system
Live track requested unit
Realistic request templates
Simple usage (modules)
JTAC operator field manual (PDF)

@WallaWalla - As the dev stated, this is an 'update' to the original mod. In THAT version, I know you had to place down units on the map in the editor, so the map HAD to be edited.

Then you could create your mission as usual.

It would behave as ANY normal mod would be when run in the editor (some errors), but work fine in a 'completed mission' (PBO).

With THIS version, I would ASSUME it to 'follow the same rules' as the original:

Place it as required per instructions.
Parts of the mod may or may not work properly in the editor (due to the stuff Bohemia did).
Save/Create a PBO mission.
Mod will work in the PBO.

The thing with it not working 100% in the editor is true for a LOT of mods, so this is not 'unusual'.

I haven't posted it because it is not 100% yet, it works and functions (mostly). Mainly out of respect for the original dev who passed away, I want it to come back and work fully before I release it

@CallSign Sancho - You're talking to 'nobody'. The dev has not been 'present' in YEARS. This is a 'dead mod' and it does not work 100% like it used to.

And while you may be correct in your assessment of this mod, it never was deemed 'realistic'. Just like I could 'critique' your gear that you wear in ARMA, as it is most likely 'unrealistic'. You know, ask an ACTUAL FOOT SOLDIER...you know...LIKE ME! ;)

Where they dev comes from, maybe this is HOW they do it THERE!

Remember, it is just a game and you are WAY TOO LATE, FIVE YEARS TOO LATE to be exact, to say what you did.

NO ONE ever claimed it was 100% 'accurate/realistic'. It appears YOU are the ONLY ONE to 'come to this conclusion'.



You should be THANKFUL for people such as the dev and myself; we make mods for PEOPLE LIKE YOU - FOR FREE.


Show some gratitude...or show us YOUR JTAC MOD! ;)


'Acting the fool' to get attention for yourself is not how to do things...it only brings BAD ATTENTION.

If you're not or have never been an actual JTAC or have never been you might want to cross reference your mods with us for accuracy. There is some janky stuff floating around out there lol
