"The Cobra MkIII is a classic all purpose ship found throughout human space. The model was first built in Lave Cowell & MgRath shipyard in Lave in 3100. Despite its age it remains a popular ship for lone pilots who value its balance of carrying capacity and ability in combat."



The Cobra Mk III is my favorite ship in Elite Dangerous, and I got the idea to build it in SE. Regarding the official specification, the "real" Cobra would be 40 meters wide, but I decided to go with a little bit more managable size... the final design got some pretty neat stuff, like the scripted engine glow effect (Easy Automation2), the retractable landing gears or the heat sinks on the back. The craft turned out to be quite agile, and as a bonus, it is fully prepared for survival game with complete conveyor and oxygen system. The only thing I couldn't fit in was the jump module, but over all, I'm pretty satisfied with the result.
