Description
What is Republic at War?

Republic at War is a total conversion modification for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod replaces the Empire with the Galactic Republic and the Rebel Alliance with the Confederacy. Republic at War focuses heavily on the theatrical films but also contains content from the Clone Wars cartoon series as well as the expanded universe. Players can re-enact various Clone War campaigns such as the Outer Rim Sieges. Players will have the choice to fight as either the CIS or the Republic and wage war for control of the galaxy. Realism is key and players will have unprecedented control over how and where they fight. Push forward with an entire clone legion such as the 501st or 212th or overwhelm your opponent with a seemingly endless number of B1 battledroids. The choice is yours. There are also a number of expansions planned that will add new (as well as polish existing) content.

We have added the following content:
  • Republic now has the ability to negotiate with neutral factions to gain additional bonuses.
  • Added 13 totally new systems: Scarif, Rishi, Drukenwell, Serenno, Agamar, Klatoonie, Deltooine, Reltooine, Telos 4, Numidian Prime, Quell, Ylesia, Bandomeer.
  • Added land map to 1 system: Yag’dul
  • Replaced or updated 12 land maps: Rodia, Manaan, Rothana, Thyferra, Duro, Ithor, Bestine, Yavin, Umbara, Hypori, Nar Shaddaa
  • Added 2 new CIS Heros: Wat Tambor, San Hill.
  • Added new Republic Hero: Bail Organa
  • 1 New Galactic Conquest: Rush.
  • Added New Planet Admin Structure
  • Added the Arms Dealer Structure: Allows both factions to build: Siege Tank, Manka Walker, SD6 Hulk Droid, GRZ Droid, Avalanche Tank, A-3 Guntruck.
  • Added new CIS units: CIS Orbital Population Center, Atlas-Class Defense Station, Pelest-Class Cruiser, Scorpanek Annihilator droid, Octuparra Combat Tri-Droid, Probe Droid, Seismic Tank.
  • Added new Republic units: Republic Orbital Population Center, Golan 1, Golan 2, 104th Wolfpack Battalion, plus numerous units that can be acquired by diplomacy
  • New Corporate Sector Authority Units: MLC-3 Light Tank, Heavy CSA Infantry, CSA Flame Infantry, Updated Espo Squads with Shield Troopers, Strikebreaker, T-62 Convor, Dimel Assault Ship, CSA Modular Taskforce Cruiser.
  • Brand new models for the following units: phase 1 and 2 clones, Arc Troopers, B1 Battledroids, Republic Barracks, Republic Light and Factory, plus many more visual updates.
  • Other changes like new audio for certain units, as well as many many quality of life fixes.

Running Republic at War

After subscribing to this mod, please wait until the download is finished!

The recommended way of launching Republic at War is by using the FoC Launcher. The launcher can be downloaded here. You might want to suppress your Anti-Virus for this file. For more information how to download the mod please get the latest install guides from here.

Alternatively you can use the built-in steam method to launch a Forces of Corruption Mod.
If the game doesn't re-launch when you enable the mod ingame, or you want to just directly launch into the mod, go to the properties for Empire at War in Steam and paste the following into launch options (including steammod):

why the AI so broken they spawn more than 20 or 30 space ships from each planet they have non stop and attack all your planets since the first turn we cant do anything

The mod crashes if it runs to long proabably because it runs in to something but ho is playing 4+ hours in a singel multiplayer match!

@Salerenko any more info? that doesn't tell the developers anything... Like what happened to cause the crash? did you try putting a certain unit on the planet, building a certain unit there, was it a ground or space battle???

@Vaughst The Republic gets AT-APs and AV-7s at tech 2 from the heavy factory; as it currently stands, I'd say the AT-AP is worthy of being called a "proper tank".

I get that if the AI does not start out with a factory then ground battles would be a steamroll, but giving them near unlimited access to hellfire droids and HAGs feels pretty unfair in the early game. Especially since hellfire droid have absolutely nuts range and damage. Having their factories just spawn spider droids and AATs would make early campaign ground invasions less of an absolute chore, especially since you cant get any proper tanks til at least tech 3
