I love the mod, and the creators really cooked again. But something about the space battles feels a bit off. CIS frigates and Acclamators, for example, feel more like disposable units where sheer numbers decide the outcome and heavy losses are normal, rather than feeling like powerful warships.

What's the new update is about? And how do I make work the diplomats properly, if there is no planet (aside the ones that require diplomats and accomplished diplomacies) with which I can make the diplomacy work...?

It was my first mod for FOC, I used to play it many years ago, and I'm glad that it's still alive.
There are stil a lot of problems with ballance, but there are also technical issues. I don't remember this problems in the older versions. IDK is it a problem of the mod or of the all game, but units (especially is space battles) never go on the points where i send them, they don't listen to my orders and live their own life. Maybe i'm bad and uncharismatic leader)))))
Moreover, it seems to me that shooting is also doesn't work well. Hits often go unrecorded, sometimes ships don't shoot on targets in 2 meters.
Finaly, when ships come from hyperspace to near to each other, they just stand on their place and don't move anywhere
So what is the reason of the broken space fights in this mod?

I just wanted to point out how busted the jedi/sith heros are. I can send anakin and obi to any planet with any sized army and no mater how well they are defended and they still win

Jedi Characters are WAY too OP my friend and i can't even play a fair conquest without losing a planets worth of armies to one or two hero force users

The main advantage of mod is the From the Ashes scenario, where you can slowly get acquainted with technologies and build logical battle fronts.
But how, damn it, you need to guess which buildings on which planet are available? I played for the Confederates, I accidentally came to the planet of Ratatak and gained access to a large list of land units ... Why is this not in the description of the planet? :lunar2020thinkingtiger:

To all of yall complaining that the CIS is to OP, that was basically their strategy in canon. If it’s such an issue make anti-“air” ships. Boom problem solved, it’s so genius it’s even used by vanilla players.

I love this mod because of how simple it is. You launch it, you play, the strong and weak vs system is good. But my lord, the CIS are broken. You have to tweak the difficulties so much to get a fair battle. Republic ships almost make no fighters, and the fighter squadrons you can make are incredibly weak.

For me, it's by far the best Empire at War mod. I love the art style and your mod development. I've been playing it for four years, I think. Please keep working on the mod <3

Great mod, but the population cap and making buildings require a unit of population means that I cant even make any units at the start of a lot of the galactic conquest maps. Not sure if this is a bug or just a poor decision by developers?

Hello everyone! How are you? Do you guys know if it is possible switching between factions in the game? I saw a thread where a guy said there is a debug kit that allows you to control both sides in a battle. Is there a way to control more than one in the game? For example, control the Empire and the Rebellion? Through the debug kit or maybe 2 players on the same Pc. I ask this, because I really want to control more than one faction. I believe it would be amazing to control 2 sides on a Galactic Conquest mode for example.

well, now we need Ahsoka, Raxus Secundus and a fully made diplomacy system (maybe also neutral planets that could join the Republic with diplomacy tasks) as well as actual diplomacy missions (like ground "battles" for certain tasks or something like that) and then the mod is perfect!
also still waiting for a playable Hutt faction. I just like being like a pirate in games like these

Ah yes. I really like the mod and the units but that damn homingspider droid with the lasers ( way to tanky) and that damn lucrehulks (crazy fighter spam) are just no fun to fight against.

Also the antifighter ships are just bad at their job and just die basicly instantly

With the new CIS hero "San Hill," you're able to steal Credits from Republic planets. It's tough for the Republic to maintain a stable income when the hero is regularly used by the CIS.

It's not unusual in my campaigns for the Republic to have +1300 income while the CIS has +8000.

So my question is: Can the Republic do anything directly against the credit theft?

I do have some questions though: is there an order 66 option? Is there any plans for the bad batch, an order 66 option would be great for crosshair and his elite squadron. Is there any plans or way to have republic commandos outside of delta? Looking at the arc squadrons I was wondering if that was a option. However, all and all I would love imperial crosshair and republic commandos .

Making the graphics look more like the tv show instead of being more realistic makes it really stand out compared to the other clone wars modes. It feel like an episode of the clone wars. The amount of maps makes for a long and great campaign. The update models and added units are really great additions.

This update has greatly improved the game, when I played about two updates ago it came off like a worse version of fall of the republic then the update or two before this one made it impossible to play and navigate the galactic map but this update is really good

I first played this mod around 2011 or 2012 & have hundreds of hour playing this mod back before I had Steam. I last played it around 1 or 2 years ago but this week I came back & it feels not as fun as it was before. Maybe I am not far enough to see the different clone battalions & Corps but I am not a fan of the changes. If I can find 1.3 I think it is what I played to play last, then I would download that again even if it doesn't work on 64 Bit. If you could release 1.3 or 1.4 on 64 Bits I would be Very Thankful.

Have the Tri Droids range been fixed?

Does the Victory cruiser still have pink markings or is it red?

Do the Clones stay stationary when attacking or do they charge the AI?

These were problems that I've experienced that I wanna know if they been fixed or not

can you make it to where the armies dont wait until they are less than two feet away to engage one another, even when prompted to directly engage the enemy my units still wait till feet away to shoot and by that point my armies are gone
