UPDATE 1.1: Fixed Aegisalt Energy Weapon and common energy weapons spawning a perfectly generic item due to having Explosive Burst.

Does your space cadet or mad scientist have too many guns that go "blam blam" and not enough that go "pew pew"? Then this is the mod for you.

Adds energy-based rifles to the game. Unlike most other guns, energy weapons have widely variable stats and abilities to make each one feel unique. Some might be slow, single shot snipers while others could be fast, burst fire weapons. It's advisable to experiment with each energy weapon you find so you know how to use it effectively before a battle.

Randomly generated energy weapons use weapon parts from grenade launchers, shotguns and rocket launchers, making them just as interesting visually as they are mechanically. They also use a custom naming scheme to separate them from vanilla weapons. The craftable energy weapons at the anvil are available through every tier from iron to aegisalt, and are quite varied themselves. Be sure to try them all out and compare each one!

Let me know if there are any bugs or crashes, or if something just isn't working how it should be. Have fun with your new weapons!

it does, personally using this mod for variety as well. The random gen just borrows Starbound Weapon Overhaul's parts

Found an interesting Tier 3 weapon from this mod. Seemed insanely OP at first, because it can basically one-shot *any* mob T3 or under (and some T4), but the drawback is that firing a single shot completely drains your energy. Also, the recoil is so ridiculously strong that it throws you across the screen. It even has a flashlight attached, to give you a false sense of confidence when using it at night or underground. :death:

I've been killed several times due to the gun throwing me off a cliff (or down a chasm, or into lava, etc) after firing it, so in the end it's actually pretty well balanced -- especially considering you have to wait for your energy to completely refill before be able to shoot again. It's such a funny, quirky gun that you'd think it was purposely designed this way and not just randomly generated.

Unsure about Frackin Universe. Probably not compatible with Manufacturer's Touch.
