I'm impressed with the mod, still using it after all these years. How do I download your Elvish Reality mod on the forums? I've made a new folder for the ZIP file and unpacked it as well but nothing works.

could you fix lockpick cases so the small ones are potions instead of food? it's weird for vampires not to be able to open a box of lockpicks.

Same I downloaded it and soon as I got some crafting benches and moused over a pictureless item it crashed to desktop.

I had this bug in the beggining of the modding development. When I didn't have all the addons installed. So I guess (I guess, I don't know) the game was changed, maybe updated with some content.

Just to clarify from below, the game only crashes when hovering over the items that do not have pictures. As far as I can tell right now, the rest of the mod works seamlessly.

I'm having the same issue with crashing in the crafting menu, items with missing pictures that end up crashing my game.

It crashes when I open the crafting menu and look at some recipses. The ones that cause it to crash are missing pictures and hoverover names. A example of this (the first one I come across) is rusty dagger (or is it sword) to nothing. This bug happens with this as the only mod (all DLC), new game, and with both shiny and light (these were tried separately. The mods have never run together.) I have even reinstalled the game, but nothing works.

Of course, this mod addds new items that are not generated be the default game.So if you load from a pregenerated world, they won't be there and that may lead to problems.

I went through and edited the lockpick pack file in your mod to be drinks, then re-uploaded it as a 'custom' version of your mod (in my local mods only, not on Steam.) **It's only the first one that acts as food currently,** the other two are still drinks.

I also don't know why you changed it. It only penalizes Vampires early game. =p But I fixed it on my end, so I don't care.

They were originally funguses, but it messes up with Fungus Arts. I also made them drinks at one point, but I can't remember why I changed them to food. I can look into that if there still is a demand for vampire thief :)

Agreed. Making lockpicks into fungus or something so vampires can use them would be very useful. Otherwise this mod looks great.

Would it be possible to make the lockpick cases act as a drink item instead of a food item? Currently vampires cannot use the lockpick cases, since they are "mortal food."

looks cool, if only it'd be posible to change crappy UI to sort all that stuff out, because even with humble vanilla crafting it annoyingly long to sroll all the shit each time you want to craft

I don't take suggestion, since I'm not playing the game and I forgot all the game ballance, therefore I cannot create new items that will integrate well into the existing mod.

May be a little late but to get smithing/tinkering past lvl 6 you'll also need the clockwork knight skillset which will give you +2 smithing and +2 tinkering once maxed.

I must be stupid, how do I reach tinkering level 8? I've maxed my tinkering skill which brings me to 6, and the tinkering goggles bring me to 7, how do I reach tinkering skill 8 to craft the elite gear?

Nevermind! I didn't realize there was the "You have to name your expansion" -free DLC. Installing that removed the missing icons & crashes.

Found an issue with the mod. Some of the meltdown recipes have a blank item in the result, and hovering the mouse over them results in a crash. Doesn't seem to be an incompatibility with other mods.

Hmm, I don't know if Elite items are the strongest of all the weapons, they just are my favourite cause I loved the whole Clockwork Knights concept. I've made them stronger then the original Clockwork weapons.

If I remember correctly on the hammer there is shock n stun effect, on the axe improved chance of triggering ability of the original. spear has bleeding damage, that's from the top of my head, I can look into the files if you want.

What are the hidden effects on the elite clockwork items? I ask because I'm trying to figure out whether they're worth using over the items that I've found, since they seem to have lower stats.

'm preparing an update. It will be mainly a typo fixing and graphic enhancement. My skill in spriting grew over time and now I can do more comlicated effects on my images.

Usually if make something from nothing that means that you have a problem with a game finiding a particular item.
So the most probable asnwers for your problem are these:
1) you don't have all the addons
2) you have a mod that conflicts wtih ACnS
3) something happened during your installation of my mod, so maybe you need to reinstall it.

You should make another C&S mod that requires you to actually get the recipes for the Elite items. If not, it's okay.

Don't know, because I don't know this mod. If there are new items, they won't be in the recycling recepies obviously.

Also I have new item "leather". The mod you mentioned probably has its own leather. so there are gonna be two leathers.

So it would probably work however I don't think it's possible to convert one type of lether to another. Unless leathercrafting mod can be broken down to its own leather. In that case you could use one of the items as a bridge.

Leather + Leather + Leather --> Leather boots --> leathercrafting leather x3

Btw Enfo Tinkerer's mask is in the release it's just commented out.

You can put it in the game following these simple steps
In documents \Gaslamp Games\Dungeons of Dredmor\mods\Advanced Craft'n'Smelt\mod
There are two files that need a bit of editing.

1) itemDB.xml

Find string
<!-- <item name="Master Tinkerer's Mask" iconFile="items/helm_mastertinkerer.png" level="14">

And delete this <!-- and this --> tags around the recipe. this will unlock this item
2) craftDB.xml
Find string
<!-- <craft hidden="0">

And delete this <!-- and this --> tags around the recipe. this will unlock the recipe.
