Is there a reason that the rat machetes don't show up on here? They're in Overgrowth core and this mod seems to draw in custom weapons from mods anyway.

The weapon list is now automated and includes all the items which actually modify the attack in some way meaning dog hammer and catcher do not actually function as weapons if they are not on the list.

In the future yeah I would like to make the UI better with images etc and a support for multiple weapons and maybe even character switching. But not really soon.

Im EXTREMELY annoying, can you consider adding anything else, or is just the weapon spawner enough? (Im suggesting more than one weapon)

Alright yeah I just updated it, so now it has it's own little menu button which will make it break less on updates and a more important thing is that it now supports mod weapons, yay! So you can select Therium-2 weapons and Halzoid Weapon Pack weapons.

I have a question about the "weapons" you can't use.
(Dog hammer, hammer, something something metal, something glass, etc.)
Is there some way to get them to work?

Yes, I thought about it a lot, there is just a couple of things:

1. If I were to make a separate mod it would have a collision with this one (because they would both override the same menu file)
2. Would it be fine to "rebrand" this mod to something like Weapon & Character Spawner mod and just add a character selector into this one.
3. Same issue as with this mod: no non-hacky way to get a list of characters (including modded ones)
4. Same issue as with this mod: no way to display images in UI I use.

Things like #3 and #4 might happen if developers do a modding pass update they were talking about so I would rather wait a bit before doing anything.

Suggestion: If possible, could there be a default playermodel mod? Meaning, similar to the menu here, have a choice of player character before entering a level. I'm just dropping it here because it's a similar concept.

seems with the release of B6 this needs an update, haven't been able to try it on the older builds as i've only recently re-installed overgrowth... but i definitely look forward to trying this once it works again!

your addon doesn't work I tried launching a level with nothing but this and the sanbox levels enabled, and I got a very long error log saying that some UI thing is missing.
