Faneuil Hall when? ;)

@MrMiyagi : thanks for the tip :)
I'll commit the changes right now !

A tip: don't delete this from the workshop. Mark it with capital letters "DEPRECATED" and offer a link to the new one. Why? If subscribers don't know about the change, yet are still subscribed, it causes errors in their game. Sometimes that can cause bigger problems. Hope that helps and can't wait to see the new one! :)

@Bartek : glad to hear it. I think against all odds I'll resort to larger footprints for this one building.
Concerning Boston, I still have Faneuil hall in the works but don't plan on making much more : it would be endless and my attention span is...limited ^^

DO you have plan to make more building from Boston?
Bartek 5 Jul, 2017 @ 10:05am
@Zhubathan: I subscribed Larger Footprints and... It's worked! Finally. Thank you, another great building from Boston. Now my city looks more like this beautiful city :)
Mugulus  [author] 5 Jul, 2017 @ 8:57am
@Bartek : It must be the larger footprint mod. I'll try and fix that !

@Darf : Smoothing applied, you pointed me towards a great function I ignored so far :)
The dome is a failure at the moment, I'll rework it

Not working - there is message error when I load a city :/ I playing with Boston map at this moment, so every building from a real Boston is really needed for me. Any ideas?
Darf 5 Jul, 2017 @ 3:48am
Smoothing groups have no effect on tricount. The Dome texture doesn't look metal to me, so I would increase the specular lvl.

@gfv74 : thanks for pointing that out ! It seems large buildings are actually automatically supported now. I will run tests.

@Darf : The dome is on the specular map, but maybe I should try to use an even lighter shade ?
And, adding a smoothing group, won't that cause the tri count to go even higher ?
Darf 5 Jul, 2017 @ 12:37am
Nicely done! If I may offer a suggestion: add a smoothing group and some specular on the dome texture (if it's not already there). This will make it look more round.

This looks really good! But I just looked on the Larger Footprints page and it says not to use that mod anymore as it's unsupported. :/

Yes to bonus points. Well done.

Finaly a decent city hall, suitable for a bigger city. Instant download
Mugulus  [author] 4 Jul, 2017 @ 2:15pm
@peterwlost : I get reeeeally easily influenced ;) ...And it was on my mind anyway.

But for now, I'll do some simpler models ^^
