oh man, now im tempted to learn how to make a race mod... just to do this. Is the use of assets still permitted?

@Robcartree It's highly unlikely that I will make a separate race mod, but if anyone is up to the task they may freely use the assets from this mod.

For that you'd need a separate mod that adds color options to the Glitch race in general. All this mod does is reskin the Glitch race, it doesn't do anything related to colors.

Would it be possible for you to add more colors for the masks? I really need an orange mask for my character

We need a bonc race pack that has Matoran, Toa, and Turaga. Id also want Bohrok so that using the energy sphere makes sense lol

I shall be blunt: There needs to be more Bionicle mods out in the workshop. That being said, this mod pleases me.

@Pakari I was recently looking into building a Bionicle Race Mod for FU. I don't know if you'll ever see this, but I'd be interested in using some of the ideas you'd listed.

Not to mention the "new design" for some pieces they used from the Phantoka line and onwards. These were even more fragile than those we had before that. They tended to snap within a week, quicker if you're a MOC-maker. And don't get me started on the lime green pieces, these were so fragile, I actually refused using them if I could.

The G1 set pieces were more robotic in appearence, but were less durable than the CCBS pieces, that I can agree on. Take the parts used as hands for example, you would use them on the ball joints so much they would eventually just snap.

The CCBS parts are much different, because they don't seem to snap at all. Though one limb part did eventually snap, but took years to break unlike G1 parts which would snap under a a single year.

Care to give an actual reason towards them being "garbage"? Story wise, G2 tells the same story as early G1, that's what a reboot DOES. System-wise, the CCBS system is an improvement in many ways, most importantly, the pieces are more durable and have more customization options.

The ONLY complaint I can think of is the pieces not being as detailed. But if that's all you're looking at, you're not looking at the bigger picture.

As someone who grew up with Bionicle throughout its entire existance, I can fairly say that the new system is better and that the story isn't that different.

Okay, why do people even say that the new bioilces are "Trash, and Garbage," when they are just as good as the old sets. The new building system increases the customization tenfold. Maybe you look at the new sets with an open eye you blind plebian. I’m jealous of the people who don’t know you.

Old bionicle were the pinacle of lego giant character sets. None of this new generation garbage.

Now that I think about it, I guess I like both generations, seeing that I have box mostly comprised of G2 parts. Before Bionicle was discontinued, I was hoping for something similar to Metru Nui.

You can prefer them. But I don't see the point in calling one better than the other when, story wise, G2 is just a re-telling of the first part of G1. Besides, their pieces are compatible with eachother, allowing for even more unique designs with them.

Can't we all agree that both generations of Bionicle were good?
I mean, the second generation of Bionicle wasn't all that different from the start of the first generation. Same characters, same basic plot. The only reason I see people hating the second generation is the use of CCBS pieces and the lack of a darker story (the first generation only went to a darker place during the Web of Shadows story).

I love Bionicle! I'm a teen and I still love the story and the toyline. As soon as I saw the title and thumbnail for this addon I clicked it, read the discription, clicked on subscribe, liked it and favourited it!

Onua still has my favorite mask, if my name and avatar weren't obvious.
However, I always liked each generation's Toa of Water more as a set. Maybe because I just happen to like the color blue.

I used to like Onua for his mask and claws. Kopaka also had a great mask but his sword was meh.

I have some Tau in mind, and Sprite work too. lol if i said that correctly haha it's been a long time but I like to see this mod is still up. :D keep up the good work. and if you guts need an extra spriter I would volenteer. Just never done any coding much at all ;_; I do sprites. lol

@TheThunderCarnival if you look on the Chucklefish forums, there already is a mod for that, however it might be outdated... But if we make a race mod out of it of course it'll have the Toa's weapons too ^^

Do you think that is you have enough time, you could add each of the Toas weapons? As in Tahu's sword, Kopaka's sword and shield, Onua's claws, Lewa's axe, Pohatu's Claws/Feet and Gali's hooks?
