Is this mod still working or has the broken part mentioned previously been fixed? I am asking as we need something like this for our server but not willing to struggle with mods known to be broken? Thanks in advance

Annoucement: Broken, file is read and deleted but nothing displayed

the file is not creating in my dedicated server for me to edit

Unfortunately some macros don't work like @PlayerName and @WorldName. I have even tried a compled new-installation of the dedicated server. /help is also not working, but no big issue.

is /help working ? I created a hangars.txt and neither /help or /help hangars shows via chat ? But being an admin i think something might be overriding it ?

Those timed chat messages, does it still work? Empty world no mods, no scripts, default time 5, been waiting for 30 mins no messages appears. Only thing that works are the motd and help file.

Hey Chrisbot, is it possible to extend timed messages? If I wanted to time a message to a server restart every 12 hours it would be every 720 minutes as an example. Currently it says up to 60 mins. I think it would be a useful feature for folks with DS if it's possible.

Let me do a little research first. I've got an idea that will very much improve managing the mod including timed messaging. I'm querying around to see if it is possible to make TCP or UDP port connections to the game. The methods usually used to achieve this are not "white-listed" so I'm trying to see if there is some way to otherwise achieve it. Hang in there!

I'm referring to this comment in the Announcement section of the mod description.
"After the announcement has been displayed, the '!announcement.txt' file will be deleted."
The way i'm understanding this is; Since I want the server restart message be an announcement instead of a chat message, I would need to make a new announcement file everyday?

I would need other characters as well, but at least for them: ö, ü. And they would be good too: á, é, ő, ú, û, í, ó. (Hungary)

Btw, if you have access to your server's Scheduled Tasks, you could leverage Announcements in the mean time.
