That one might be easier to use, I cant be bothered, barely play rimworld, so copy all you need from it.
The author of this mod has clearly abandoned it.
I doubt i'd have to do much to "update" it. But we'll see.
So will use this mod as base, then update where needed, and post the link to my mod here for anyone who cares.
meanwhile we wait for an update.
Base robots was fairly simple and had a step-by-step tutorial, but is in my opinion inferior, for one the robot is technically not a colonist but closer to an animal.
All I really did was make a pixelated poor quality image of claptrap, "borrow" some art for the thumbnail and rely entirely on someone else's work to make the moving bits move.
I make no promises though, Cause I'll be honest, I have no fucking idea what I am doing.
Sorry but there is literally nothing I can really do about this.
Base robots hasnt been updated in 6 months, it's a dead buggy mess and required for all the other robot mods.
Updating and, most importantly fixing Base Robots would require at least intermediate skill in C#, which I do not have.
Plus, reading someone elses code in a programming language you dont know and trying to fix it is a bit like me trying to read a research paper in french while only knowing the word baguette, I mean sure I can figure the gist of it with the help of google translate but I couldnt fix a grammar error in it.
I left the mod up but I seriously considered just taking it down with all the issues it had.

No idea why, just noticed that, i have a separate butchering table to do human butchering with my regular pawns, because i use my enemy corpses to feed my animals :D
