This mod sounds awesome! This mod also makes the game very hard, since mushrooms are relatively uncommon on normal settings, and to make them appear enough to be able to have a food source that is unreliable but present requires increasing the mushroom spawning by a small amount. Still, it is worth having this mod, and I love it. I do suggest adding the easier parts of the to-do list first. Adding an starting item is easier than adding an entirely new game mechanic. I suggest working on that. Also, giving him either a blueprint for the mushroom farm or a single mushroom to start with as food would also be a good idea, since he has a custom diet. Most characters with custom diets usually have something they start with to balance the custom diet... temporarily. It should be up to the player to find a way to keep the character alive and well after the start.

This is a very good mod, but please create the planting, becuse it is a great idea! But... if the 'To do' things don't made, it's . And please, add starting mushroom farm, and mushroom, becuse Wandrake can't survive!

Sorry to say I don't have the technical capabilities to flesh out the rest of this mod. I may come back to it if I ever get a more in depth education in coding but as of right now I am not working on this mod.

Great Character idea! I would suggest improving the art for its body but the hair looks awesome.
Also you could get the art assets for mandrake wes from his halloween skin & changing it up a bit.
