Hi cstoneburner, i use your paints and it works, but after load a savefile ALL destroyed paints are deletet and the normal underground paints comes back. what happend?

Letting everyone know if you install Megadori's mod grassier grass it will over ride this mod and no effects will show. You'll have to unsubscribe from it. Cheers

Pretty much, there seems to be a small radius where the "build" notification will show. Sometimes zooming out will give you a sense of where that is from where the symbols are.

Yes, because you have to be directly over where you clicked. They exist as a single point, not a full square because that is the only way to make them able to be placed after building.

It does, You just have to go VERY slowly over the area and wait for the "build" option to appear. I've tested it with the latest patch.

since the screen shot isn't showing publicallly that I can see I've sent a friend request, Fire1.

Deleting it shoudl give the the inaccessible and ?. You should still be able to go in in first person and find where it is and deconstruct it. The disappearing, however, is odd.

The texture is the rough Stone texture which I placed to see what it looked liked. Ithought that I could use it so I wanted to delete it and place it elsewhere. When I deleted it I got the inaccessable symbol and question mark. The Texture had disappeared but the symbols remained. Anyattempt to build over that area is not possible . I have posted a screenshot .

@fire1, what size and texture are you having problems with? Are you being able to locate the patches to mark them for destruction? Is that particular sticky patch marked as ready to be destoryed? Destroying the texture will not make it revert to the texture it had prepatch, are you sure that it's not destoryed (e.g., is it flat ground but you still can't build on it)?

I just tested both the large and the small and didn't have any problem including with overlapping small ones. Sometimes the small ones take a bit of wandering back and forth to locate.

I cannot destroy the texture even in first person as the person cannot find it.

You have to remove it in first person. You should be able to, even with icons showing it's not accessible

kk so i think this is bugged, doesnt let you build where the terrain is put and you cant remove it cos it stays with the two icons and noone goes to it :(

Ah ok. Thats sad. I thought about something like cobblestone or gravel path. I actually like these ghost textures because you can place them in a granular way and they get not blocked by other buildings or terrain. So u can place them everywhere. That gives a nice natural look. Top!

Unfortunately not the way the mod works. It relies on the hardcoded ground textures and I'm not sure if it would possible to add new ones. Certainly it's beyond my limited knowledge of lua right now. I would be possible to make ghost decorations of road textures but they would have to be added after buildings were built (you couldn't use them then destroy them and have the texture remain the way these do) and they probably could not be surface conforming. If that sounds like something you'd like I might be willing to give it a shot as it would be fun to have fully paved trade fairs and the like. I don't have the capacity to add new textures to the game (no program) so it would have to use ingame textures if I did it.

You may need to destroy them in first person. Select cancel building and if you get a "-?" response just get someone in first person to do it. There is something about the lack of a model that causes it to freak out sometimes. It seems to vary with updates.

he guys i cant destroy the placed streets?! the worker dont find them, i destroy it with the same i destroy houses. u have a tipp or it dosnt work with new patches? sry for my bad english.

( ich kann die flächen nicht wieder wegmachen?!, ich benutzte das symbol mit dem ich auch häuser weg mache... die arbeiter finden es nicht, es wird mit einem ? und daneben ein (-minus) zeichen angezeigt , habt ihr ein tipp ???

Unfortunately grass isn't something I can control as a modder. That code is buried deep, away from the prying eyes those such as myself :)

Tried again, but uninstalled all mods except this one. It was working, then reinstalled all mods
and now it appears the mod is still working. Not sure what happened, but I'm glad its working.

Ok, I've looked. I think in both cases you may have to destroy them by hand (which in my tests doesn't cause a problem. Once I get a couple of more urgent things figured out I may see if adding pivots helps (it didn't with the previous patch) to be able to make it automatic. But until then if you take a person and "build" once you've marked them to be destoryed you should be fine. If this is NOT the case, please let me know.
