When i do a Prefabinfo on this ship the plants are listed as invalid blocks, just remove them in creative mode and shorten the name, after that it can be built ok.

@Timer .... I have been working on a redesign of this ship for my personal playthrough and have considered uploading it to the workshop. Guess this is me asking permission to do so, and of course give you credit for the design I based my build on.

On a break right now Mayhem. I empyrioned myself out. Sooo I'm not really sure when I'll be back. Perhaps when SV/HV docking is released. I'm really happy you like the ships and honestly none of these ships would exist without Desviado. He deserves just as much if not more credit.

Hey Man! Love your Design Language, It reminds me of ships from Games and TV series alike, good job ^^ also your Halifax does seem like a realistic design for a future Manmade ship - anyway any chance of a SV and HV in the sameish look/feel just not the 2 minifaxes :P?

Thanks - good points - especially the modular redundancy point though I imagine that the XLs have much more durability than the Ls.

@Jonofwrath The original Halifax Frigate was a revamp of another players ship from earlier that a few friends and I created. I never really thought it would be successful as it was, i just liked it so I thought i'd share it. So at the time XL thrusters were bugged and were using power even when off. The 6.0 revamp it never struck me to replace them, and I'm not really sure if it needs it as the ship accelerates pretty quick as it is. I haven't looked at the power usage yet though to see if I would save power by converting to 2 XL engines. Lastly, 4 engines means you have to lose 4 engines before you lose the ability to move.

Can I ask why you went for 4 large rather than 2 extra large thrusters for the main engines? I mean it definitely looks cool as is but you'd double your thruster with XLs. Just curious!

I've got about 4 prototype CVs on the go so am soaking up wisdom wherever I find it.

Thanks Salt. The layout in this version feels more atural. In my personal one I've ditched the garden and replaced it with more cargo and fridges. Gardens die when you repair the CV in space. Having a space station ... That doesn't work.

The original Halifax was one of the first CVs I ever downloaded from the workshop. Loved using it as a light attack cruiser. But this one? Wow man. You did a fantastic job with these 6.0 updates. This is one of the coolest CVs on the workshop for PvE content. It's a staple for my alliance's fleet now, great work!

All turrets except for the minigune are now set to follow the Condition Red Switches. If condition red is deactivated, all except Miniguns will power down as well. This way you will still have some cover from drones if mining. Remember you can activate Condition Red from the control Panel, so if you youre out of the ship, you can still turn on everything via the registry.

The switch at the bottom of the elevator activates the ramp leaving the man door. It has been painted white so that it is not confused with the Conidtion Red switches.

Replaced some flares with Condition Red LCD's. Ambient light was making it hard to see the flares lit.

i also think that maybe red alert should turn off all interior lighting, just to pronounce the red flares. i know the farm room in particular can be so bright due to the growlights that you cant notice the flares. also, maybye have spotlights turn off when red alert turns off, but have a seperate switch that can toggle the spotlight? so you can have it on without red alert if you want to?

in other news that lever at the bottom of the elevator still does nothing. also, the hangar doors to the outside will never close once you enter unless you turn the switch on then back off again, due to the proximity of the docked ship.

cool. ok. maybye set the switch to only power down some turrets? that would save on fuel, and be a bit more reasonable for a red alert combat stance like thing.

@Derpy. Updated. Thanks for the heads up on the missing Switch. I think when i added the Washroom I forgot to replace the switch. There is a new switch now on the wall at the upstairs part of the bridge. I checked the signalling and it does work as intended. I set the switch to turn everything to ON not to follow. The only things that follow are the lights and the drill turret. So if all of your engines and turrets are already on, the only difference you will see is the lighting. Simply because i figured it would be more of a hassle for the player if they wanted to turn off the Red Alert and all of their turrets powered down. Thank you very much though for pointing out that missing switch.

there are some flaws with this. one, the red switch in the elevator does nothing, two, red alert ONLY turns the red lights on, and three, there is only one red switch.

The link works now, but I still wouldn't class this as PvP. It's just more capacity and a little more armour. If I beef it out too much, it will stop looking like a Halifax, it will get heavy and slow and the size class will go up. It's a medium sized, nimble, functional CV. There are far better strictly PVP BP's out there.

Thanks for the feedback Loki, and I'm glad you like the ship for what it's intended to be. I know if I go out pvping, design means nothing. I'm probably flying a cube with multiple layers of armor and air blocks. That doesn't look as fun as switching on red alert though! :P

Great looking PVE ship, and I love the leavers you installed to activate the doors. The only two probles I have with it is that it is one layer thick armor, and it's vital componets (warp core, core, generators) are in one place, while the ammo and O2 are grouped in single rooms. While the build works for science fiction and PVE, I advise that no one think that they are safe flying this thing through PVP space.

LIke I said, love the design, love the functionality and turn radius, but I hate the ease with which I can kill it.
