Yeah, this mod is kinda legacy at the moment. I was planning to do a revamp with the next update, but then that update never came and this was a long time ago so I forgot. I haven't even loaded up Starbound for, like, a year. I'm not going back into this mod to fix any problems it has, but I might get back into Starbound soon and try the revamp thing (just do the mod over, but better this time).

http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=745078478 adds shooting/MM while wallgrabbing. Buuuuut this mod is taking priority so it doesnt actually work despite being installed. sad. Unless it's changed recently, or is going to, perhaps? Then it'd be fine.

I'm having no issue at all. How very strange. Double-check that you don't have other techmods either subscribed or in your mods folder. Perhaps unsubscribe and then resubscribe to this one.

Update: The latest update has also made it so the keyboard dashing doesn't work anymore?? I have to use double tap again, to note, I'm not subscribed to the double tap version at all.

Weird issue I'm having since the most recent update: All of the spheres work for me besides the distortion sphere. Unsure as to what's going on with it, even tried rebinding the key. Will experiment more and update if I find anything.

Just changed Distortion Sphere bomb-drop key from "down" to shift. I think this'll avoid a lot of accidents.

You know what'd be neat? If the wall jump tech worked like Megaman X's wall jump, basically, just reducing the push away from the walk to the point where you can jump back onto it and actually progress upwards.

Perhaps that resistance could be energy depletion?

I kinda like the idea of having your energy bar as a shield.

idk about fall damage, man.

someone removed "distortion spheres plus," which did most of what you did here, but without fall damage for the spheres.

Played a lot of prime hunters, and the logic in that game was that morphing prevented fall damage, which was more than useful in that game's multiplayer/quake-like gameplay, and it always irks me here when I try to apply that here.

perhaps you could compromise and have an extra set without fall damage?

The only other two things I wish this had, apart from it's already fantastic buffs, is being able to use weapons during a wall slide, and a super sphere that costs 3 times the tech cards, but gives you all the benefits and looks like a real morphball, if you can even manage that.

Totally a good mod though, always appreciate a tech mod, since they seem to be scarce.

@No. 90 Interesting. It doesn't seem to show up in the controls for me without that mod, yet it remembers any keybind I had previously assigned it. I guess it's just finicky like that.

I actually uninstalled Extra Tech Key Binds while using my own mod and I still got the option for the keybinds, though I'm not sure if that's just something on my end i'm unware of.

Sphere's DO take fall damage. I'm not sure if I want to change this, becuase many things in game only make sense when fall damage is an issue... I might change it...

Extra Keybinds is not "necessarily" a dependency, this'll work without it, but you won't see the keybind in your Controls menu without it. And yes, this whole set up, all dependencies and everything, work with 1.3.

just wondering, is extra keybinds actually needed, and if so can you confirm it works with 1.3? the tech changes in 1.3 may make etkb an outdated mod.

I just tested it with FU. Not very thoroughly, but there doesn't seem to be any issue. It certainly didn't crash.
