BTW the Military models are gone, also suggestion on the monsters go to custom and set the specular intensity to 0 so they don't look like someone covered them in Vasoline.

Is it possible for you to group it? I can't save the entire thing as an object.

Your models were stolen, and the authorship was not specified

Two ways: Hard way, try to drop the gun into the right hand of the stalker. Once it is in place make a joint between the gun and model.

Easier way: Use the gizmo move tool to position the gun exactly where you want it then make the joint.

Joints are destroyed if you place the model in a bag. You can however select the stalker and gun by making a group box around them then saving them to your saved objects collection, they can then be spawned on demand. This is why there are so many variants for the QoC mod, the host can save them all in advance then spawn them on demand in a QoC game.

Hey! Can you explain to me, how I can put weapons into hands of models more easily?

Board game version http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=957433513 it's basically a clone of tіnу еріс quеst but with some additional new mechanics.

Hey, three's more than I could've asked for. Besides, artifacts are awesome.

Also I will look into making scripts to mount the weapons and attachments. I will add some artifacts and items next rather than any more stalkers.

Добро пожаловать!

I have added three stalker models for each faction with 3 tiers of armor each. Three weapons are available and two are already mounted to each model. The weapons are held in using the "joints" tool, which you will need to use to remove them from a stalker.

Replacing a weapon is a fiddly process, I recommend locking the stalker while trying to place a weapon, then making a joint between the gun and the stalker to keep it in place when you move the models.

I've no complaints whatsoever if you decide to focus on your actual game. I hadn't considered the complexities of adding all the types of stalkers. I won't even pretend to know just how much work that'd be. :) These are awesome, and looking forward to checking out your game.

I have added a proof of concept stalker model and weapons. The collision mesh of these new models have been carefully designed such that the guns can be slotted into two places on the stalker model. The front slot is horizontal, with the pistol grip of the gun slotting into the stalker's right hand. The back slot is the backpack which consists of a small basket with an open back centred around the stalker's backpack.

To see exactly what is going on, open the custom properties of the stalker and weapon models and copy the collision mesh URL into the diffuse URL and delete the URLs for the textures, then click import this will show you visually how the pieces can be fitted together.

I will add more stalkers and weapons, hopefully they can share the same collision meshes provided the pose is very similar.

The stalkers would be very time consuming to add not only are there many varieties of faction specific outfits but each model needs posing into a realistic stance and the head/face texture merging with the outfit texture to make the single texture allowed by TTS.

I also need to play around with joints and collision meshes to see if I can find a way to attach weapons to individual stalkers in a roughly realistic position.

This also distracts from the actual STALKER themed game I'm making which doesn't need such fluff since it can rely on an inventory board.

Are you going to add actual stalkers as well? That'd be awesome. Either way, great models from a great game.
