Hmm, that's a first for me. I've never experienced that problem myself and I'm not sure what kinds of mods would conflict with my text files.
Are you playing Civ V in any other language besides English? The mod was made only for the English localization and AFAIK, running the game in a different language setting might be causing the problem you are experiencing.
You're not the only one that's wished for an Aurelia or Leasath civ. Unfortunately, lack of info (leader, art assets, city names, etc.) would mean that both nations won't make it.
On the bright side, there's always the Superplanes mod that adds some ACX units into the game.
Could it be... Belka?
It does in fact turn out that I was indeed missing something in the files for all the unique jet fighters which would help explain why they weren't intercepting. An update for practically all my Ace Combat civs will be posted soon that should rectify this.
Only time I ran into a problem of having a unique unit show up as a spearman was when something went wrong with the unit's ArtDefine.xml file or how the unit files referenced it.
However, it might be possible that some other mod you're using might be causing this to happen (for some reason). I had someone try to make their own mod using LUA and custom ingame models and somehow cause some units to show up incorrectly (had a unique unit show up as a spearman).
It shows up as a spearman? That shouldn't be happening unless the unit's ArtDefine.xml file is set up incorrectly; last I remember, the file should be correct...
Unrelated news:
Of all the people I've asked to help recreate Kimchi's bug (unique jet fighters unable to intercept), so far only one has come back with results and according to him, the units are capable of intercepting and if anything, the bug might require unsubbing and resubbing the mod or revalidating the game files.
Not quite the conclusive investigation I was hoping for, but that's all I've got so far.
Hmm, that's odd. All the unique jet fighters should have the same promotions and abilities as the regular Jet Fighter.
I'll ask other people if they run into the same glitch and if they do, I'll look into it if I have the time.
Hmmm, that's weird. If a mod shows up on the mod list and is enabled (green check-mark) then it should by all rights show up in the game setup.
If that really is the case, then the only recommendation I can make is to look up the problem you're encountering on Google and finding a possible solution from there. Otherwise, this is outside my field of expertise. :(
If the subscribed mod doesn't show up on the mods list for some reason, I best I can recommend is to perform a manual download which would require you to put the mod contents in the Civ V MODS folder manually.

Really? I'm not sure what I can recommend if the music doesn't play at all as I have never encountered that glitch.
This may or may not work, but you could try using the "Music Changer" mod to see if you can brute-force the music to play. Otherwise, I have no idea.
this is cool :)
Glad to hear that you're enjoying it!
Yes, I am aware of it. You can see the breakdown in the discussion page linked below the description.
Dammit...
@zArkham4269
If by "E&D" you mean the Events & Decisions mod, then I can't promise anything. I don't have the mod myself so I don't know much about it or how to mod civs with it.
@NorYa
The soundtracks used will be updated in the description.
In regards of balancing, I'll consider your suggestions (or lack thereof) and implement them in the next patch when it comes out.
it happens sometimes: go chek in USer/MyGames/Civilization 5/MODS ad chek out if there is a folder without name but formed by numbers and letters
