Ooh, haven't touched this game in while. Anyway, I've just tried reproducing described bug and collecting hides works fine for me. Try enabling just this mod and see if it still happens for you

I still enjoy playing this game & so do my kids, despite it being discontinued. So I've collected mods that work seeing as there's no more game updates, all mods that work, will always work. However I've tried this mod & I've realised just one flaw, if enabled, hides aren't collected & stored regardless if where, villages ignore all hides left on the floor & also refuse to pick them up of you try building with any in the construction radius as they would if a tree or rock were there.

Would be nice if you could fix this to keep the enjoyment going.

I loved this mod in my first games.
Sadly, its not completely compatible with megadori's market stalls (they cant store whatever item has been reassigned for share the load)
Thanks for your work, it works nicely and is super useful to stop having barns filled with stuff that should originally belong to storehouses (yeah, firewood, charcoals, i see you...)

So I went back and did some testing. My settings were flax, grain, hay, herbs, and oats to barn, everything else on the options menu. On a NEW game this causes a bug where builders do not collect HAY for building projects. I changed the setting back to hay in warehouse and my houses and gathering huts were constructed immediately. However, on a saved game, the hay in the barn caused no construction issues (so far) at all.

Not sure, works fine for me. Does this happen only on new game or also with existing saves? Did you change mod options?

Having an issue with this mod where when it's activated, no building projects are completed. It doesn't appear to be activation position related as I've had the same bug when it's the only mod active and when it's well down the list of 40-odd mods. That would crash the game for pepole who don't have the mentioned mod. You can make the change yourself easily enough though. Go to game installation location/mods/1399129807, open megadori_arrows.lua with any text editor. On 7th line change "storageClass" value from "RESOURCE" to "MATERIAL" [i.imgur.com]. Note that if the author updates the mod, this change will be overwriten

В подписках мод есть. Я запускаю игру, и всё идёт по-старому, никаких изменений. Я уже и заново подписывался, всё равно в игрё всё идёт как прежде.

fv.core.resParamsConfig.resource_name.storageClass = "MATERIAL" line is what controls where the resource is stored. So you only need to add a new line with the appropriate name somewhere in the .lua script. You can find all resource names in the scripts\configs\normal\resParams.lua once you've unpacked it . Note, that if you change existing mod, your changes will be overwritten if the mod updates

If I enable your mod my game crashes. I can load a game but after some time (from 10 sec to 2-3min) the game stops working. Music is still playing and I have to kill the process in Taskmanager. This happens although I put it on first place in list and even if it's the only mod loaded.

@MrBot - I've been using your mod for a bit. Great idea by the way. I just posted a mod that enables workers to carry more food to theit homes each trip. Gave a brief try at firewood and charcoal. It's going to require a little more work. I compared the current worker .lua with the previous one and saw a few changes. If I can figure out how to re-enable your mod at the same time I'll hollar.

Since the update of the game I cant get the mod to work at all. I tryed unistaling and then reinstaling and rebot my comp still not owrking right

I have the updated mod installed, and turned on, and my villagers are able to find all items without any issues.

kelstr, all you have to do is save game, then reload that newest save to fix the villiager pathing, and to get the resources sorted to the correct building...

For now though, it would seem untill MrBot can figure out how to fix his mod, the villiagers cannot find wood or coal to heat houses with, unless you shut the mod off. And yes, even with those items returned to the barn, if you have the mod ON, they cannot find the resources, the mod is still trying to tell them it is in the warehouse...

MrBot, I really do wish you luck in fixing this, this mod is one of the simplest yet best mods I use in my list. It satisfies my OCD about non-food products that were stored with foodstuffs. Thank you...

The new patch seems to have caused conflicts. Villagers aren't able to find firewood when the mod is on. Might there be a fix?

It actually is this MOD !!! HAHA....

When you start a new game... people won't get firewood from the barn really... so they show cold weather symbols... once you build a wood cutter and put wood in the warehouse... BOOM problem solved.

Thought I'd share incase someone else had same issue.

I seem to have a glitch where no one is getting firewood to take to their houses... anyone else have this problem? Not sure if it's another mod that's causing it.... but asking here as I thought this would've been a likely culprit.... but doesn't look like it
