That was fun, done it with 13 throws.

nice idea, but it's a pitty that it didn't work as well as thought

It was fun -at the beginning. The idea is pretty impressive and amusing. But the cube keeps hitting 3rd and 4th buttons, frequently. Which makes it a little boring.

I was very impressed. It very much reminded me of my map, except yours was random and in mine you could choose which to activate without knowing what would occur.

Hmmm - increasing the tractor beam actually made it worse - I increased the time and uploaded a new version ...

Thanks - yep it was really an experiment I turned into a fun map. Another one using a similar idea is my coop map GladOS's Russian Roulette (see my workshop) which uses a random generator to make one of 6 buttons lethal - plus I added turret chanllenge

That was pretty cool, could've been a bit brighter or more portalable but it's not necessary. I seemed to get the nearest 3 buttons to the exit door much more frequently than the farthest 3, could easily be fixed by increasing the timer on the tractor beams and letting the box bounce around a bit more.

A great and fun idea, although it took forever for the box to finally land on the last button i needed.

Interestingly I found the opposite - favouring 3 and 4. It is hard to make it genuinely randon! I am owrking on another idea now!

EXCELLENT design. It was really entertaining watching the whole thing unfold. My only complaint is that, because of the design, the middle two buttons hardly ever seemed to be pressed...and I found out at the end that was for the best, because of the turret. It would have been nice if the chance was equal for all the buttons.

Even still, thank you for this fun one :) One of the more original I've seen, and I appreciate it!

Nice little randomizer you have there ^^ Don't know if you ever tried my Random Number Generator , but this is almost the same idea ;)
Anyway this version is not really good because some buttons have a lot more chances to be reached than the others ^^" I got like a half of my tries the button of laser cube X) Maybe make the timing longer before the funnels select the button to let the time to the cube to bounce randomly ;)

Nice implementation, the only problem is that the entropy is rather low. Nice touch with the turrets that shoot t you while you are daydreaming looking at the mechanism >:)

Like a dice roll nothing is guranteed but if you have patience you will be rewarded. Seriously it just strated out with a conversation with another player to see how easy it would be to generate random events - I have an idea how to use this concept to better effect in a proper new map - watch this space.

Nice one. I got killed by the turret because I turned away from my PC for a second but I tried again and got it in about 3 minutes.

VERY cool concept, but the bouncing cube seemed to end up on the same 3 or 4 buttons. I gave up.

NIcely done. The bounvcy cube will make true randomness a pain in the butt for all. ;=)
