Bunyan 1 May, 2019 @ 1:15pm
This was one of my all time favorite mods!
kamarajitsu 23 Nov, 2018 @ 5:33pm
Is anyone willing to update this mod to 1.0? No disrespect to Uugg but I much prefer how this mod works.
Gnox 19 Oct, 2018 @ 8:22pm
It was a great mod while it lasted Inky Quill but thank you for letting us know it won't be updating
Koopak 15 Oct, 2018 @ 6:34pm
Author recommended swapping to this now that they wont be updating.

The "Replace Stuff" mod suuuucks. I need this back in my life.
Inky Quill  [author] 10 Sep, 2018 @ 12:05am
Sorry, this mod won't be updated. Please switch to Uuugggg's "Replace Stuff" mod, the link is somewhere in the comments below.
L 9 Sep, 2018 @ 6:49pm
this is a great mod sadly its not at b19 yet surprising sense b19 came out so long ago
IceMaverick 4 Sep, 2018 @ 8:00pm
For those still waiting or looking, I've swapped to Uuugggg's "Replace Stuff" because it contains the functionality of this mod plus some extras. Might be worth considering if you can't wait for a B19 replacement.
Slickcharms 30 Aug, 2018 @ 6:20pm
Will this mod be updated, or will it work without needing to be updated?
Maxxmillian 28 Aug, 2018 @ 10:40pm
B19 was pushed out to everyone today as the current version, love your mod, will you be updating it?
viirinsoftworks 28 Aug, 2018 @ 6:27pm
Are you going to upgrade to b19?
Uuugggg 25 May, 2018 @ 1:46pm
Since "this is a quick and dirty update" I figure I'll inform the world that my new mod Replace Stuff can replace walls, and do it without deconstruction, and do more things.
DaddioPB1 22 May, 2018 @ 4:16am
please add support for sterile wall by #notamillennial and conduit wall by sulusdacor
ShadowzWolfz 21 May, 2018 @ 7:35pm
@Depeled, I can confirm that you get your resources back. Every wooden wall I replace I am get 4 wood back.
Depleted 11 May, 2018 @ 5:08pm
If you replace a wooden wall with a steel wall, will the wood be returned to you for use elsewhere?

There's another replacer mod for walls and doors but it doesnt return the previous material to you for reallocation/use and I'd like to use your mod instead if it does return original material.
PremierVader 3 May, 2018 @ 11:57pm
Hi can I add this mod to a saved game? WIll there be issues? Thanks
It Takes Tree to Tango 10 Apr, 2018 @ 7:10pm
Minor Compatibility Bug Report: When using Blueprints mod (from Fluffy) with the RTreplacewall mod, you will be able to put a replace wall command with the same wall material.
For example: a granite wall with a granite wall blueprint on it. Pawns never interact with it, but just a little odd to see a blueprint of a granite wall over granite wall.
Brrainz 27 Mar, 2018 @ 12:02am
Latest version of Achtung works actually quite fine with this mod. ENJOY
Uuugggg 26 Mar, 2018 @ 3:10pm
I'm finding this breaks Achtung - there's a replacement at New Zone Tools [ludeon.com]
ꌗꉣ꒒ꂦ꓄ 20 Mar, 2018 @ 12:35pm
If this only took into account great constructors that are horrible miners (spending a full day removing a rock wall to spend 5 minutes constructing a door, arrrgh!) it would be perfect.
Chortles 17 Mar, 2018 @ 7:02pm
@Jibbles I'm also having an issue with pawns only replacing one wall at a time. In the previous version, pawns would deconstruct the old wall and build the new wall at the same time. I think this has to do with the "smart stuff not working". The other problem is that constructing has a higher priority than deconstructing in the vanilla construction jobs.
Pamparampampamparam 4 Feb, 2018 @ 10:12pm
Any chance of a compatibility mod with Rainbeau Flambe's Concrete mod? The concrete is a special wall that isn't recongized like a normal wall, and so isn't able to replace walls.
SPOOKY Berechet Lucian 5 Jan, 2018 @ 5:15am
the mod is amazing but i found a problem. if a pawn that has mining disablet tries to mine a rock wall to replace a wall it creates a error because said pawn doesn't have a mining speed.they can't mine unless it is to replace a wall, in witch case you get the error
Potluk 26 Dec, 2017 @ 10:28pm
Thanks for keeping this updated Inky, I'd hate to play without it.
Inky Quill  [author] 24 Dec, 2017 @ 11:06pm
@Casual Point, sorry, already took down all previous versions. I don't think I have it on any of my computers.
@all who wanted new features, sorry, guys and girls, I didn't plan to add anything from the start, I just update the mod to ensure compatibility. It has all the sources for anyone who wants to add new features. If you make a new, better version, notify me, I'll take this one down.
CazsieL 23 Dec, 2017 @ 4:23pm
Do you have a link for the A17 version? I can't seem to find one that doesn't require me to log in with a microsoft account.
RandyRandomus 21 Dec, 2017 @ 4:01am
yeah i have this too , :X i know it was in A17 better . :steamsad:
Limp Bisquick 19 Dec, 2017 @ 11:17am
The pawns are pretty dumb when it comes to replacing the walls. They'll mainly remove one wall at a time and go get resources only for that one wall.. I've noticed they work a lot more efficient if I ordered them to deconstruct the walls first. Happening to anyone else?
Flesh Forge 14 Dec, 2017 @ 9:19am
Such a useful mod, thanks for this!
Fuglypump 10 Dec, 2017 @ 11:37am
I would really like to see this mod expanded on to replace everything. Basically when trying to build anything in a tile that has something in the way that can either minified, deconstructed or mined.

Mainly I would like to be able to place a bed on top of another bed similarly to replacing walls with this mod.
ACID 8 Dec, 2017 @ 3:38am
It would be great to also replace doors with walls on the fly with this mod.
The Iron Angel 2 Dec, 2017 @ 1:37am
That's actually the one I'm working on trying to get my modified copy of GT to be vaccinated on, I won't be able to upload it (Sam's Rules) but if someone knows how to do the vaccination then we could DIY it on our local copy (bear in mind we'd have to do it each time Sam updates the mod, hence I make a copy of it under the mod folder and only update for major improvements)
hixz21 1 Dec, 2017 @ 6:40pm
I'm sorry, could you add compatibility for wall light, wall window, etc from Glitter Tech?
Thank you.

The Iron Angel 1 Dec, 2017 @ 12:36am
Hey thanks for keeping this up to date Inky, appreciate it! I've had a play at trying to vaccinate a mod I use so it's compatible with this but I'm too n00b to get it working, anyone got any code examples I could see to help me out or any pointers like what to put in and where in the def to put it in?
ValkyrieRia 24 Nov, 2017 @ 7:10pm
@Inky Quill, Hey it updated correctly this time. Thanks, you're the best!
Inky Quill  [author] 24 Nov, 2017 @ 3:31am
@ValkyrieRia I've updated this mod again, cleaned junk and added version information to log. If it reads "JTReplaceWalls v0.18.2 initializing..." in debug console at the start of a game, then you're updated.
ValkyrieRia 24 Nov, 2017 @ 2:54am
@Inky Quill, I've tried removing entirely and adding in again, no change. Did I do something wrong?
Inky Quill  [author] 24 Nov, 2017 @ 2:49am
@ValkyrieRia: It shouldn't, Ive updated this mod 3 hours ago.
ValkyrieRia 24 Nov, 2017 @ 1:47am
Mm, the mod works but getting this in the debug.
Could not execute post-long-event action. Exception: System.TypeInitializationException: An exception was thrown by the type initializer for JTReplaceWalls.Vaccine ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Inky Quill  [author] 23 Nov, 2017 @ 11:20pm
Updated, looks like some method that should be replaced was renamed and rewritten. Well, I fixed it, try playing the game with this mod again.
The Iron Angel 23 Nov, 2017 @ 9:43pm
So, the error prevents right click menus from opening on my game, I've tried putting the mod at the top of the list and that makes no difference.
The Iron Angel 23 Nov, 2017 @ 9:18pm
I get the same error too
ValkyrieRia 23 Nov, 2017 @ 9:05pm
Got the Same Error
Omnom 23 Nov, 2017 @ 7:51pm
Works fine for me. :)
Munsta 23 Nov, 2017 @ 3:49pm
got the same error
Fuglypump 23 Nov, 2017 @ 1:45pm
I get the same error too but i havent tried to see if it works or not
