Unfortunately I lost four hours of work when I tried opening a specific database table with PFM instead of RPFM. PFM decided to delete my whole pack permanently... (never using that crap again)
I'm now slowly reworking the lost data, so the release is still a bit off.
Not sure what mod that is, but anything changing campaign mechanics/effects/unit stats etcetera won't be compatible. Thanks!
Thank you for your help and keep up the good work!
You can expect a playable version this week most likely, but I don't have an ETA on when all new features will be in (the new general trees, the thracian overhaul, and lots of other new stuff).
At least you'll be able to play it with most campaign/battle mechanics from previous DV versions, while we add the new stuff little by little in a multitude of updates.
I simply cannot stand any other combat on this game other than this mod lol
Now I have spare time once again but currently waiting for 1.2.3f to leave beta...
I think from now on we will ignore any non-major updates from DeI, because we just don't have time to sit and hotfix every little thing KAM decides to change around (for the tenth time).
So there will only be updates when Dresden adds some major campaign mechanics, like new scripts or some other interesting thing.
Since the beta is out now we're waiting for Dresden to finalize the DeI compatability update for it and the DLC, then we can iron out DV for release.
But since 1.2.3 is the last one, we can finally work on new additions for DV, instead of just wasting time on compatability.
I have to update both the creditlist and description anyway since we kind of moved away from the original balance to something slightly different.
Thanks for letting me know!
For example all cavalry are 120 in mine, while lots are only 100 in normal DeI. This means that 20 horses won't have a rider. Same with some infantry, dogs, elephants etc.
If you know basic modding you could change that easily by just changing the amount of men to the amount of beasts (or vice versa).
Looking forward to the changes, they sound exciting!
It will! I can't promise when it'll be done, but hopefully this week.
Next update will be rather large and include our first own faction overhaul along with new general skilltrees (merged Legendary Commander into the default DeI trees) along with a bunch of other changes that will (hopefully) improve the gameplay even further!
I am very much looking forward to it, as this submod makes DEI perfect (through my eyes)
Thanks in advance!
Yes! "Normal" campaign difficulty is harder than "Very hard" in this mod.
Happy new year everyone!
Best is to start a new campaign!
