@cstoneburner or anyone who use storage management
please add this line in your lua to make this mod MORE compatible with storage management,
with this edit small shed will memorize resource filter you've set on save game and won't be resetted back when you load the game.

Hallo

Dein Lagerhaus gefällt mir super, nur ich kann dort Lebenmittel einlagern und kein Holz, Stein, Eisen etc. Könntest du auch noch einen Mod erstellen wo ich Holz, Stein, Eisen etc Lagern könnte? Finde für Randgebiete die Standart Lager einfach zu wuchtig. So kleines Lagerhäuschen gefällt mir da viel besser ;-D

This mod is fully functtional and it's great in the early game, but even so I've been steadily destroying all of my sheds as time goes by - the caravan system isn't set up to easily manage a bunch of small storage units like these, so in the end it causes more problems than it solves.

Thanks for letting me know! It must have gotten screwed up when I did the French localization. It should be fixed now.

Localization.csv has the wrong mod number in its tooltip entry so the main menu tooltip is displaying a bunch of garbage text instead of the price/quantity icons.

is:

Love those 2 mods they are the best out of all of them.
Actually there is 3 new icons in the Caravan Stables, All- All Food-All Materials.

That's what the small stockpiles are for :) Also they are cheaper and faster and good for things like putting at the edge of large terraforming projects, which is less true of anything you actually have to build.

ha ha ha, I came here to thank cstoneburner for his mod and end up getting a very helpfull eye opener by reading the comments. I hadn't noticed the "All Food" icon before lol... Nice!

Actually there is now 3 new icons in the Caravan add items, All looks like a cupboard, All Food looks like a piece of steak and All Materials looks like a bail of hay. Wonderful.

I thought it was a problem with the small shed icon for resources but it seems to be related to the Donkey route and only when the small shed is FULL.
There's 2 new icons in the add items to a Donkey route, the Cupboard and All Materials!!. That's pretty cool.

I am still getting individual items when I destroy small sheds. By my mules do you mean immortal donkeys and more productive stables?

I know what it is now, use your mules and when you go to add> select item the first icon is a cupboard looking icon and the description is "ALL" must be a new addition after the main update. Sorry my mistake so when I click on destruction the little shed has that icon to start with, it means all.

Hi, actually I had seen it formore than a week, when opening steam today there was an update for both LIF and steam, so once they finished launched LIF and with donkey routes now built I kept getting nearly full icon on this one small shed, so decided to destroy it all the goods would be moved and I wanted to use the donkey to do this as well speeds it up. But I couldnt use the donkeys to assign the product since the icons shows some sort of cupboard. Hense I took the screeenshot and posted here.
The food icons will appear when the shed is over half empty.
I have another screenshot from a week ago when I first saw it.
This is on a new game and why I had asked before could I start a new game without mods. You replied that I cant once I have them. So I just dont use them.

Hey cstoneburner , I've noticed that the small shed nolonger shows the resources when destructing until nearly empty? It now just shows a orange cupboard looks like :)

Most of mine I haven't updated because they haven't needed to be as nothing about the code they work with has changed. There are a few that do need it that I'm slowly working on (or trying to get my current game to a place where I can work on them).

I went ahead and reinstalled,nothing changed even after fully re-installing all of them? Exited Steam still remained red. Maybe some have no updates as yet. Thank you again I'll keep an eye on them.

I believe that's the last update they were updated under. In many cases this doesn't matter. E.g. Cheaper stone roads hasn't changed since general release, but it can be an issue and if you're having problems it's a useful place to start.

PS, my original 500 population village the small shed works fine. And once I unsubscribed to the extra distance route mod it loaded fine and all good there. This happened only in new game.

I only using camera distance and small stockpile, it's a new game to test these mods.
I had probs with small stock pile and small shed, what I did was remove all mods intto new folder so the game engine didnt see them, then unsubscribed from all and rebooted Steam. Still no go, so only subscribed to small stock pile and camera zoom. These worked then tested small shed no go. So will now test small shed again. Maybe my stockpile mod is damaged. If the small shed fails I will delete stockpile reboot game then add small shed test then stockpile. Could be the name conflict.
UPDATE: IT WORKS.!!! :steamhappy:

Okay. It's working for me now. Doubt it makes a difference but I am running a new game since the last patch as well as about 30 mods of all sorts.

OK, I've reuploaded the mod and Nakia and dominuskevin are both using it without problem. Hopefully it was just an upload issue that is now fixed.

Ok, that's odd. 933610485 is the mod number for the small stockpile and I don't have any file 933610485.txt, but you're right it says smallshed 933610485.txt.

Other than that it looks likes it's crashing to hard to record anything useful and the lua looks like the current version, so I'm remaining baffled. Have you tried manually deleting the mods folder? or at least the subfolders 933610485 and 933633167? What other mods are you using?

Built it and as soon as I click onit the display locks up.

Did you see above ReconADA his has the actual text from LUA file.
Do you want my LUA file as I cannot open that.

The small shed number is listed and I grabbed log.log as soon as it crashed.

To fill you in ...
The small shed works in my main village of 500 but not in the new village.
"it is only with the new game.."
When loading the main village straight after new patch it died at the first screen, went white.
I thought I had lost my 500 populated village .
Trying to figure out what was wrong.
Started a new a game >I saw this error loading (number)>>mod extended route) so uninstalled it just to remove that error, the new game played fine no white screens.

Went back to main village and with extended route disabled it loaded fantastic.
Then went back to new game played until I put the small stockpile and small shed.
retested with just one of each, stock pile works as soon as I add small shed click on it or interact white screen> shed is the cause.

I'm not being able to replicate the crashes, if someone could upload a copy a their log.log file to where I could download it, it might help identify where the problem is. I believe you all, I just don't know what needs fixing!

Keep getting crash when interacting with the small shed. Tried unsubscribing, restarting game, and then reinstalling. Even went so far as to delete the folder in the mods folder to no avail. Don't get me wrong, it works as far as villagers utilizing it but the game crashes when you click on the shed itself. Still think this needs some attention.

cstoneburner with a new game I tested 4 times and the small shed must need updating, as soon as I have built it the game locks up ie goes to white and stops responding. It is not happening with small stockpile. I have disabled and unsubscribed exited LIF reinstalled but still happens. Please fix I miss the small shed. Thanks..

This Mod still causes game to crash when placing Small Shed to be built. I followed your instructions to uninstall/reinstall and started a new build but that didn't help.

Try unistalling, restarting game and reinstalling. I'm not having any problems with either clicking on it in third person or interacting with it, including inventory, in first person, so it may be a problem with an old version of the file sticking around in your mod folder.
