I'm guessing that you didn't mean to make cherry trees last 2400 harvests? That should probably be 240, right? ;)

Nice little mod, thanks :) The orchards in this game drove me crazy with their ridiculously limited lifespans and problems with completing full harvests. I have an apple tree and 2 cherry trees in my back garden and both have been consistently producing fruit every year for the last 20 years or so with no care needed at all.

@^9|Vice| ^7Shnarff I think the game developers updated something and it made most if not all mods unusable. Atleast until the modders update their mods. I would check back later.

Can't seem to get your mods to work for me. I love the ideas you have and appreciate your time, but are there steps I need to be taking? I have downloaded them, I can see the lui files, but in game, even with new ones, nothing changes....

I actually did research the lifespan of fruit trees when made the mod and this is what I found. Also given that it is harvests, not years and most years have a partial "harvest" that counts against the lifespan that provides no fruit it's the best balance I could find.

Nice, but fruit trees typically don't last this long. I think something around 30-40 would be more realistic, and still tons better than vanilla game.
