Wow, if someone can alter the powered suits to look like they did in the Japanese OVA from 1988 versus the Movie version of the Arachnids I'd die happy. Still a good mod!

First wargame I ever played as a kid! Thanks!

Spent all of my allowance to buy this game b/c the box cover looked so cool. Got it home, look one look at the rulebook, then put it away again, never to be played. It was a bit daunting for a nine year old. Now, I look forward to checking it out here and maybe even actually playing it. Thank you!

I can't seem to be able to load in the map, says it's a gateway connection

Wow, I got a physical copy of this from my dad, neat.

Found the problem. For some reason, any game that has a tablet in it crashes my game. Don't know why.
boylegd  [author] 1 Jun, 2017 @ 5:09am
I anyone else having problems loading the mod? One thing I could do is bag the game board so that those images aren't automatically loaded on startup.
Renna 30 May, 2017 @ 4:05pm
Don't know why, but my game crashes when I try to open this.

You deserve some kind of medal drawn by Kimiko or something man

Ok. Mod has been updated with the following changes:

1.> Skinny humanoid installation counters are corrected to now display an asterisk on their back side.

2.> Another small rules expansion has been added to the Bonus materials along with counters. In a future update I may include models for these as well.

3.> A counter manifest for the core game can now be found on the table at loadup, to make it easier to familiarize yourself with the game's components (and see where else I may have screwed up :D)

Props to CrushU for the feedback. More of it is most welcome.

Thanks CrushU... seems I could have misprinted some of the tokens. I'll try to take a look at it tonight. As far as your second question all I can suggest is blindfolding the terran player while the Alien takes that part of his turn. I could include one of Tattle Tales' blindfold Skytool widgets I guess to give the Alien player some enforced privacy. I donno. Let me think about it.
CrushU 27 May, 2017 @ 6:58am
So after playing with the mod I have feedback:
The backside of the Skinny (Humanoid Alien) pieces, the Decoys are the only ones with Asterisks. I know this isn't right. :)
It's also kinda difficult to see the backside of Alien pieces that are all in a stack... Is there a way to fix that? (For when they're hidden from the Terran player and you want to know which ones you're moving as the Alien player...)

LOL... I have this game! Thank you! Love AH...
boylegd  [author] 26 May, 2017 @ 5:50pm
Thanks for the kind words. I hope some of these old games get a second life.
Unrelatedpants 26 May, 2017 @ 12:46pm
I love the work you put into these modules.. Classic games, rules included, nice environments.. It's fantastic!
CrushU 26 May, 2017 @ 9:01am
Holy crap! I actually played this when I was younger, and somehow lost the thing.
Brambo 26 May, 2017 @ 2:39am
Thanks for all your hard work, AH and SPI were games I grew up with and seeing them again is fantastic, playing them is awsome. Thanks again
