not to worry, elisabethjacksonhall is working on an overvault of her mod which will be compatible with open cities, so the entrance of her mod is gone.
Thx for answering,
cheers
cc@elisabethjacksonhall
One little conflict that I have noticed, and I suspect it is with the mod. „Brynjolf has time for you“ from your „Sister moddingtalent“ elisabethjacksonhall.
I think there is a conflict between the two entrances, they are probably in the same cell.
I don‘t get the entrance to the thievesguilds apartment and cannot even enter it through the cistern.
I shall now try what happens if I unsubscribe your mod. – regrettfully, since I still need it in Markarth and Windhelm- but I want to see what happens. Just thought I let you know (and elisabeth too).
cc@elisabethjacksonhall
once again you have provided us with an excellent mod. and a great idea! As ever lovingly executed and wonderfully immersive. You are one talented modder!
This mod. works wonderfully well with „Life another Life“ and all sneaky stile play like Thieves guild and Brotherhood.
A must for all those who don’t want to be burdened with to much property!
Please carry on the good work and thankyou very much for sharing your work!
Greetings
I think that would really help with the immersion. This mod would be so useful for poverty buffs that don't want to live in large homes!
I like the taxes idea.
Also, the Whiterun key box is directly to the right of the shack door on the ground next to the main gate.
Also, where's the key for the whiterun shack?
I took off one of my Markarth mods and the shack appeared. City shacks is a nice mod, thank you for making it. I'm not into the palaces, just a place to get sleep credits and to store stuff.
Ya, I have that problem in inns a lot because I'm using a few mods that increase the population in cities (Populated Cities, Inconsequential NPCs and Immersive Wenches). The game spreads them out then they go about their routines which end up being sitting on my inn room's chairs and sleeping in its bed. Its kinda comical. Those mods really do make cities feel like cities, though.
I've been giving some thought, for gameplay/roleplay purposes as to how much they should cost to rent, lease or buy. Maybe double the inn cost for one night. Half of the price of the vanilla home to buy and 10% of that for a 1 year lease
so in Whiterun for example:
Stay a night at the Bannered Mare: 10 gp
Stay at the city shack: 20 gp
Buy the city shack: 2,500 gp
Lease the shack for a year: 500 gp
The last option is probably over-think but I threw in for s*** & grins
Interestingly...
I did have "wenches" from the "immersive wenches" mod wander into the Whiterun shack to sit down or use the Alchemy lab. Not sure if that's a bug or a feature :-)
Thanks again, Ticklefeather!
Much thanks for improving my game, Ticklefeather!
Or, you might have another mod that edits the same part of Whiterun, and conflicts with this one.
If yes, then perhaps you've walked past the Whiterun shack. It is right next to the main gate before crossing the little bridge.
If no, then you should make sure the mod has downloaded completely before pressing the Play button on game start up.
Hope that helps.
That could probably be major hit with all the RP players out there.
