I bet a LOT of times robmerlo. Sounds a bit ominous! Cheers.

a good run my friend as i was doing the light engine part had me wondering how many times have i done this over my years on the footplate. I remember one driver broke down sent his fireman ahead with a relief order but after he left he got the train moving again and moved about a mile further with a very nasty result when the relief engine arrived

Hi Scouser888. I must do another on this route. I just tried to publish my first on the Bessemer Lake Erie route in the 1940s, but for the first time ever I cannot publish - as there is an issue with the route itself not allowing me to - and I am NOT using any extra DLC at all!! Very, very annoying. It seems some people can't use it. It is fantastic otherwise.

Challenging but enjoyable. After stopping at Oroville West Main, I couldn't find loco 753 on the 2D map, but the operational word is 'reverse' and I found it eventually, and completed the scenario. A little long, with lots of 20 MPH running, but you can't always get what you want.

You have been very busy - enjoying my stuff! Thanks crlynch. Try my 'Free Roam' one on this route, and let me have your thoughts about it please.

All went well for me, apart from the weather that is. Thanks for your efforts. Looking forward to some more of your scenarios.
Regards, Keith.

Keep on doing my scenarios chris5012 - and leaving positive comments (if warranted that is!).
There will be more USA ones soon. First though another short Bristol Blue Period one, based around the two depots and station.

Yet another brilliant scenario Not.Silent. Thoroughly enjoyed playing it as I have all your creations. Well done again and thank you for sharing.

I got mixed up at the first stop b/c although the menu pop-up said to continue reversing, the next destination icon (Oroville Depot) was in front of me. Also, the disabled train is not labeled in the 2D map, so was unsure if that was where I needed to go or not. Again, this is not my reasoning for saying its good/bad; long runs aren’t my thing and if I had known that before, I wouldn’t have downloaded it. Your N.S61 is what I like to see when playing a scenario, thus I had no qualms giving it a thumbs up. Again, I’m not attacking your style and I hope the fact that I gave this scenario a pos the 2nd time through canceled out my neg from the 1st time, which I shouldn’t have due to my not following directions.
sbmarauderman03 23 May, 2017 @ 11:37pm
Not critical of your style at all; there have been many other scenarios that I passed on subscribing to b/c I could tell from the description that it would simply be a long run of 45 mins or more; not all scenarios have that, however. I wish a person had 3 choices in terms of feedback; pos, neg, and no comment. This way, if I play a scenario and I don’t enjoy it and there aren’t any bugs/issues, it would be unfair give it a thumb down, but would not be an accurate rating if I gave it a thumb up. I know it takes a lot of time and effort for folks to create these scenarios and am not on a mission to give neg ratings unless the scenario has unclear directions or other elements that take away from enjoying it.

Thanks sbmarauderman03. Neagative or positive ratings stay with the scenario once you have 'cast your vote'. Some scenario creaters use the stops to make sure instructions are read. You can do an instruction to 'pop up' based upon timing from a previous stop - which can get a bit cumbersome. It depends on the pace of the scenario, and the complexity of what needs to be understood etc. I tend to use parts of routes that are 'off the beaten track', and the software may not be written very well for those parts. This is my style, and I have my followers. Have fun.

I just replayed this scenario again and see where I got mixed up. So, you back up to the disabled train first, then do a 40 minute run to the destination; I'm not a big fan of long runs...prefer switching and short runs. I did give the scenario a thumbs up this time to cancel out the thumbs down I gave it the first go around...if that's how the ratings work, which I don't know. I don't understand the need to stop on the main prior to hooking up to disabled train, or the stop at Oroville Depot on the way to James, but it's your scenario and that's how you created it...not criticizing you or the scenario, just not my cup of tea is all.

Hi again brian62. This is about as cold as it would get there! Glad you enjoyed finding your way in the fog and sleet!

Hi sbmarauderman03. You have missed or misunderstood the instructions on how this starts. You firstly reverse to the stricken engine with all the cars, and then you go forward with the two engines and all the cars to the destination. Perhaps have another look. The screen shots show the sequence.
sbmarauderman03 22 May, 2017 @ 12:33am
A bit disappointed. A 40+ minute run with a single unit and no cars, finally get to disabled train and scenario ends. Just my opinion, but would've liked to have the disabled train at Kramm, then actually hook up to train and assist into Oroville.
