Hey any chance you are making any skins for Truenorth? (Made by the same guy who made Rockford) or if someone could get some commissioned from you?

Also as a quick update for all you guys i plan on in the next few weeks to start the process of doing skins for EvoCity & Paralake. However i might be forced to make 2 Skin Packs 1 for Police & 1 for Fire/EMS due to the size of this pack being close to 300mb. As many of you know steam don't allow gmod addons on steam to be more then like 320mb.

@Captain Marshal:Watson - If the skins are not working make sure that you don't have any other skin packs for gmod installed.

I cant get the Ford 550 skin to work?

I will releasing an update within the next day or so to include the Fire/EMT Skin for the LW Ambulance. I will also be adding 2 skins for the PV F-550 Ambulance 1 for Fire/EMT & 1 for Medic.

Where can i get the LW Ford F350 Ambulance template?

I have noticed that for instace some of LW vehicles & PV's vehicles when you save them as skin 2 or whatever in-game they are either like skin 1 or skin 3. I don't know why this happens but it has happened to a lot of skins i've been doing. But i know most TDM cars when you set the skin to skin 2 in-game they are skin 2. Don't know why.

Weird things happen on Lenco Bearcat's skin.
I saved vtf and vmt as skin2, but the skin only shows up when i select Skin 3.

But if you where to compare his skins vs my skins you can easily tell stuff don't match up at all.

Sadly No. Yes i used the same template, font, etc to match his b/c he lost his 4k skins. I just remade them in 4k by doing redoing each and every car.

However you made it really. Just make sure the template is not visible. Not quite sure how you did yours but for mine i just made a background template & added my text over that template & then hide/remove the vehicle template that you got from the web & save it as a .jpg in the highest resolution. Then you need to convert that .jpg to a .vtf & make the code for the .vtf in the format of .vtm. Or just use someone elses vtf & vtm files and overight the .vtf with the new .vtf you made.

When I save the skin, the Bearcat Template should on top of all of the Layer or under all of the layer ?
Also, do i need to disable the Bearcat template before i save the file?

Just use either the Paint Brush or the Magic wand tool. I don't have problems using the tools. But for me i spent about a good 5mins on each skin.

I had Photoshop. The Magnetic Lasso Tool always messed up my skins.

Photoshop. Btw if you don't want to pay for photoshop they is a way to trick photoshop into thinking your on a paid version. But the easiest way is to get the template & just paint over the template. Don't worry about going over the lines.

I went to school learning computers. Started learning computers when i was 2yrs old. But yes i used Photoshop. paint.net will not give u the best out of skinning.

I find out it is very hard to make perfect skins by using Photoshop.
