my citizen died even there are food available.. and somehow after some period, my citizen going to edge of the map and stuck there.. need help!!

Most of the time your villagers starve before you can even build houses/get food production. Unless you want Banished: Rage Edition, I'd avoid.

That ultra-hard start is no joke. Better have the climate set to Fair, or they'll freeze to death in spring. 😂

maybe i just suck at the game but i found this almost impossibly hard. theres a lot of new buildings, items, and mechanics, and none of them are explained at all. i was forced to have all of my people constantly working on getting food, leaving me with nobody to do any other tasks. i just dont understand what im missing here.

@Christina first time you switch mods in banished it tends to crash on start. You should try to run it a second time after you switch mods. It's been a while since I played but I think it worked like that.

Version on banishedadventures.com should be more updated.
This mod is an overhaul, don't mix it with other mods unless its optionals from the site above.

This mod seems broken to me. I have created a log cabin multiple times and the people never use it. Given this is on V7 I can't imagine this hasn't been mentioned or I am don't understand what this building it for.

I like this mod. However, the chicken coop seems to be broken for me. I have chickens near my starting area, but when I build my chicken coop the only option is cows. I already have a cow pasture though. So the chickens will forever roam wildly on my map because I cannot properly designate my coop to chickens.

I played your mod add-on back when it was in its early versions, so glad to find it on here, alive and flourishing (and in V7!) This is one of my favourite mods for Banished. Great work, Tom. :}

Hunters hunt visible deer already in the base game. It's not a new feature in this mod. All the tech details you can read on www.banishedventures.com/deerandhunters

And herbs increase health by a half heart of a person if consumed in a herbalists cabin or healers hut with the effect staying for 3 months. It's not directly replacing a missing food type but of course it is kind of a compensation of bad diet.

Has this mod changed something to require there to be visible animals within the hunter's area for him/her to bring in meat? My understanding is the core game does not require that. Also, is it true that herbs will be used by people to fill one food type requirement if you don't have something for each of the 3 or 4 food types?

Those crashes when quitting or saving happen due to disabled but internally not fully removed mods. It can be solved by exit and restart Banished after switching from other mods and before starting a new map. That cleans up the game.

The weeds are bog land which can be used to dig out peat or just removed by reclaiming land, both in actions and removal toolbar. More info on banishedventures.com/how-to-bogland

Game crashing when I quit to desktop (only this mod is activated).
Always have to restart Steam to start the game again when using this mod.

I love it - after figuring out how not to die within 10 years.
Sadly it seems that it is impossible to be independent (need to import steel though I have iron and coal, need to import sugar as not plantable, ...). I had read the maker was still at it, but it seems it is not getting an update for quite some time :(

When you play on harsh climate there is a grapichal bug sometimes, in autumn/winter period it becomes snow suddenly, then it disappears again and its green, then it becomes snowy after a little while. The issue with this is that the farms loose all their progress on yield and resets completely. So they start from beginning of 0%. Thus making it impossible to sustain with farms when you choose the difficulty to start on Iceland for example. I noticed the same glitch on mild climate, but then it happens in winter/spring so it's not dangerous for any yield really.

I was really pumped about this mod, I love anything viking, but I must be doing something wrong? My people won't build anything. They'll cut down trees but my builders WILL NOT pick anything up and start building. Then everyone just freezes to death. I have yet to actually get to enjoy this at all and it makes me sad.

The idea is great, however the AI makes sims, and rimworld pawns look like Carl Sagan. Its unplayable for me. Laborers refuse to pick up materials and go idle for seasons, and houses wont gather any necessities. I like difficulty but when the AI refuses to do anything with 4 health and 3 stars of happiness I give up.

I would love this mod on an easier mode. I don't play often and I tried an easy start (Village), lasted a couple years, but for some reason my farmers didn't feel like harvesting and everyone starved. Longest I made it.

Wonderful assets! Would love if some of the buildings became available as single assets. Especially the Stave Church! I just don't like that neon grass texture in this mod.

Das Weiterverarbeiten oder Konservieren von Nahrung bringt untem Strich einfach mehr Nahrung. Macht auf jeden Fall Sinn, vor allem später wenn sich die Primärproduktion nicht mehr so steigern lässt.

Seile gibts nur beim Händler. Ne Seilerei ist eine Idee und kommt vielleicht irgendwann.

Töpferwaren kann man nur im Töpferofen machen, oder kaufen. Falls Du die Zahl im Übersichtsfenster meinst, kanns an anderen Sachen liegen, die in derselben Kategorie mitgezählt werden, Seile zB..

Danke, hat inzwischen geklappt, wenn auch nicht so früh wie ich wollte. Aber die Statistiken zu haben ist schon super!

Andere Frage: Was genau bringt es mir Lebensmittel weiterzuverarbeiten (zu Braten, Rauchfisch, Skyr, Mehl etc.)? Sind die dann effizienter?

Und ist es richtig, dass ich Seile nur beim Händler kaufen kann?

Ah und mein Vorrat an Töpferwaren vermehrt sich irgendwie auf mysteriöse Weise, ich habe keine entsprechende Werkstatt gebaut. Kann es sein, dass die ab und an gefunden werden oder die Nomaden diese mitbringen?

Normalerweise bekommt man schon sehr früh genug Findlinge zusammen. Am besten gezielt danach suchen und einzeln markieren. Auf manchen Karten kanns schwieriger sein, vor allem auf Maps mit wenig flachem Land. Dann muss man den Radius bissl erweitern.

Hey, ich möchte früh einen Tingplatz bauen, dafür benötige ich Findlinge. Das scheinen größere Steine zu sein, aber davon gibt es nur sehr wenig. Ich habe bereits alle Steinvorkommen in akzeptabler Nähe abgeerntet, aber dabei insgesamt nur vier Findlinge erhalten. Kann ich einen Tingplatz erst bauen wenn ich einen Steinbruch habe oder wie komme ich früh an ausreichend Findlinge um so einen Tingplatz zu bauen?

I basically wasted 6 hours of my life again trying to get a village built up on farmers difficulty. I Rage quit again BECAUSE BUILDERS ARE SO STUPID IT TOOK TWO YEARS FOR THEM TO ONLY GET HALF WAY DONE ON A FISHING PIER. I lost FOUR people in one F**king winter because the game is broken. Prioritizing did nothing, I have all the resources I needed. I put so much work into this and got f**ked over by awful AI. I wont be playing this game or mod again until my villagers do what they are supposed too. I watched one spend two months gathering supplies and taking them to the tailor or getting wood when I have a 15x5 filled with logs Right next to them.
Very Mad and Disappointed.
