You get Athel Loren and the Wood Elves by sending the Green Knight/Gilles le Breton with 10 knights to the two statues 30min+ into the game.

how to get hold of athel loren and who gets it

There was not enough space to write everything in "Objectives", "Hints" and "Scout", so I'm adding this here in the comments:

There are random starting conditions on this map. There's a 25% chance of the following options to happen at the start of the game:
a) Marienburg becomes a part of the Empire (P6), and Talabheim joins Middenland (P4).
b) Averheim becomes a part of Ostermark (P8).
c) Chaos (P2) gets an extra relic in the Chaos Wastes.
d) The Greenskins (P3) receives a Waaagh! (30 troops) in the immediate beginning.

Also, the first Empire faction (P4, P6 and P8) to reach 200 kills will get the Demigryph Knights close to Altdorf.
