Thanks for the confirmation.

Some friends and I are testing mods that we use in LW2 to build a roster to start a LWOTC game, and we leave chat prompts so we don't duplicate the effort.

Oh, then i dont understand what im doing wrong. Tried it on existing game, then on new game and still there is no "*" symbol on haven personnel. And im absolutlely sure that the faceless is present in this haven (resources get stolen, then rendezvous mission appears). I'm using russian version of the game, but i dont think this is a problem.
The mods im using is:
LW2 A better AWC
Guerrilla job
Facility Hunt job
True Concealment for LW2
Maybe there is some kind of workaround to make it work? I really want this mod. :steamsad:

Still works fine here. Also checked the source of the current version of LW2: No changes that affect this mod.

Alright, I will try soon. And as it seems you have experience with modding LW2, I have two questions that I still haven't received an answer in other places; where can you find the retraining part for AWC? I only found the time for training the special perks, but not retraining a class.

Messing around with a faceless infiltrator is more complicated than it seemed.

In order to remove stealing, you might just change "FACELESS_SUPPLY_DRAIN" in file "XComLW_Outposts.ini" from 20f to 0f.

On the subject of removing faceless - how about making it another job, like supplies or intel - call it "counter intel" or something

Well, if it is to literally wipe them out, I would go with the second option. Whenever you open the haven screen, they go caput. But you could also make another version that only works if you open the screen of a liberated region.

The real question is when to remove them? When a region is liberated? Every time one opens the resistance heaven screen? Or if one opens that screen of a liberated region?

Then please do it. Removing 20% of supplies for EACH faceless is just absurd, especially with how difficult it is to get the mission to remove them. I have master sergeants everywhere and still got nothing

That's ridiculous. So much for "freeing the region", you can't even enjoy the supplies properly, I will have some on intel with an advisor and pray they find those faceless. But from the looks of it finding faceless is nearly impossible.

So, using this mod I found out there are -still -infiltrators in a region I liberated. :T Can you even get missions to spot them if the region was liberated?

Well... I won't use this (at least for this run) but it gave me an idea:
There should be a mod where YOU manufacture battle scanners for the rebels to find the faceless among them. Doing so consumes the scanner and if there are faceless then a purging mission begins immediately.
In this mission you can send a small team assisted by the good rebels and advisor to take on a boss faceless enemy. Basically it's a rebel with tons of HP (like a real faceless in disguise) that uses guns against you and when dropped to 1/2 HP or less it sheds its form and goes faceless. There's a hidden radio rely that must be destroyed in so or so turns or enemies will teleport in.

OR: the battle scanner is dropped, you can't send troops, and then it's a mexican standoff between all the rebels and all the faceless at the same time and like before they are all having guns but no Advent or alien dropping on you.

But this is way out of the scope of this mod.

Even if I say so myself, this might be the mod with the shortest source code. This feature is hardcoded into LW2. All this mod does is assign a value to a variable at the right moment. That explains the short response time after your mod request.

They always steal. Regardless of the assigned job.

Undiscovered faceless infiltrators can even fight on your side against a discovered one.

A full invasion is guaranteed to have all faceless on the map. Other than that the only way to be certain is if nothing gets stolen.

Wow, I discovered a disturbing fact thanks to the mod! You can have advanced operators actually be facelesses. And here I thought faceless operators would be discovered on any mission involving operators. And that's not just one or two, half of the faceless infesting my havens are trained operators. So sad...

Just a pratical question: should a faceless operator be put on hidding, will he/she still steal Supplies/Intel? I wish to play as fair as possible in that regard.

Here's a screenshot to show the real thing to everyone. Also you can see I have a bunch of Reality Machine's haven mods. About 85 tactical strategical mods activated currently and Alternative Launcher actually shows no conflict in my mod list.
