Looks very detailed and fits Earthshaker perfectly. I do suggest making a glow map for the runes like you said, I think it'd be spectacular in action.

YO mehn this thing should be Big cuz even in dota 1 raigor stone hoof A.K.A earth shaker used to carry a friggn big "LOG" so you guys dont have an excuse make it waaay bigger.

My only suggestion would be to make the runes a little brighter, closer to the lighter fur on his arms. Would have to see it in context, though.
