Not working. One starts without a settler.

Usually custom maps are located in the map select tab when you start a game. You usually have to look for the name of the map to play it, but I don't know the name for this one specifically. Maybe it's the same as the workshop title.

How do I play this mod? I've subscribed to it and enabled it in-game but I can't find an option to play with in when setting up the game.

Given the size of the maps for Civ V restricted the overall layout. I couldn't put Denmark in as much as I wanted to. I haven't played the game for over a year. If anyone wants to try to modify the map go ahead. I did what I could with what I had. Every European wants their nation in the game, but the problem is that you need a different set of civs for each nation, because of the scale of the maps. You can't fit every nation into the land given. Also, if you want the game to be fun. You need room to grow. So a few areas I decided was best to alter. Overall I thought this was the best map I could find. Heck, Civ VI maps suck. I want to put this map into the game.

Denmark is missing, its just 2 testicles.... not perfect at all.

Don't understand why this mod is getting hate on how small it is civ's maps arent big enough for a full scale world. Anyway great mod

Does the civs start in there proper places?

One Problem: You're using marcador projections for references I assume ? it is the prefered because it gives accurate portions on overall shapes and therefore making it good for showing shape representation but trades off for this for size distortions.

A Gall-Peters Projection shows far more accurate size representation but not shape which is why the academic curriculum planners probably don't teach it because then you would know how large Asia and Africa are compared to North America for example.

Great map, but I have to say that it sorely needs more city states. Allying yourself with Sydney or Rio de Janeiro is GG for you, they have so much stuff in their territory which you can exploit making it really easy. More city states.

There The first version of Brave New World is up. I can now fix anything that people like and don't like, but make sure to go to my BNW map which has all the different setting on speed. I to will be testing the map. As I have time.

Okay good chance I will be launching a Test run for my map. I forgot that I did created and was testing a Marathon version of the map. The map is resource heavy as I haven't made the adjustments to spaces and haven't rebalanced out the map. That being said I do believe it appears to be ready.

Also trying to recall on how to set the locations as being permanent for starting purpose.

sorry been working a lot of hours. I did start work on it. I was near ready to upload. I was trying to rebalance the world out for Brave New World. Since there is a limit on Civs. Also, for sake of loading and other things. I try to give a good amount of balance. If anyone has suggestions to nations to be in the BNW map feel free to make mention.

Just what I needed

I don't seem to be able to play multiplayer with this. I just get an error. Both my friend and I have taken the map file into the map folder, but it still doesn't work.

Great mod but I have one problem with it. It bugs me that England can see the whole world because that takes one of the big fun parts out of the game, exploring. If you could fix it, please do.
